Popper fishing for GIANT TREVALLY in the Maldives | Official Film

I’ve been hearing stories for years now about a fish called the Giant Trevally, a formidable predator inhabiting the tropical and subtropical waters of the Indian and Pacific oceans. People have been talking about its incredible strength, power and speed. A few weeks back me and Oskar from Outside Travels went down to the Maldives in search for this well known specie, the GT, Geet, Caranx Ignobilis and so on.. all I can say is that the stories I’ve been told are all false, this apex predator is way stronger than I could’ve ever imagined, and I do understand now why people travel across our planet, each year, to target this phenomenal fish.
