I saw a similar lure made by a southafrican guide. I mean the white one in the start. What are your thoughts about it ? I like the shape and I am working on a lure like that. My first version made quite some damage in Fr Polynesia to big coral bass and some other monsters we could not land due to coral heads and structure, as it was all land based fishing. Wild footage man. Keep on.

The general size seems to be small to medium, where there seems to be bigger fish caught further south around the mid QLD coast. It's only an observation, I may be wrong.
hey mate unfortunately there are so many smaller fish they always beat the bigger fish to the lure. around the island where the pressure edges are smaller and pecking order is a little different the fish are always a little bigger. There are monsters out at the reef you just have to get lucky sometimes, or purely fish deep water for them.
Wow very big GT and your rod is not broken very strong fishing rod your have i catch 7kls GT but my popping rod is broken unlike your rod very strong it's not like the fishing rod here in philippines
