The best part of this scene for me is that Blob doesn't mind when Logan called him fat, but was only mad when he misheard bub as blob. Its subtle yet real funny to me

For anyone wondering, they do indeed make stretchers for guys Blob's size. We once had a guy who weighed 840lbs come into my ER and, while not easy, we got him onto a bed. And he came in by ambulance.
Wow that's amazing. How did they get him in the ambulance, with a forklift? But all joking aside I recall years ago a medical professional said with obseity becoming more of a problem some people are too big to fit into current medical devices so we will have to start making larger devices (unless people stop becoming so overweight).
For anyone wondering what happens after they die. At least where I'm from. We pick them up in minivans where they barley fit. Loading and unloading with nothing but will power.

This was a *great* character scene. They did the Blob really well. He was actually a little likable too.
I think the best part is that they made it entirely believable that Blob could be a legitimate opponent for Wolverine - which he was in the comics - versus just being grotesquely fat man.

@@benji285 I think it depended on who was doing the writing. During most of Claremont's run, the claws couldn't cut Blob. Something about his skin being extra tough and soft/squishy so he'd absorb the blow instead of being cut.

As someone who used to be quite large and was insecure about it. I find this scene quite positive.
His size is played for laughs, sure, but he's shown as still being a good fighter on top of being super-durable. And his character is more than just "lol he's fat". If you'd done HALF the shit his team did and then had to live with it? You'd want some kind of coping tool too!
He moves lightly so he obviously is not out of shape either.

I remember a comic where Blob fell/sat on Wolverine, completely covering him. In the next panel, you see Blob jump up. In the next panel you see a close up of Wolverine with his claws out, sticking up, and a smile on his face.

I love this movie too. The dynamic between Logan and Victor was perfect. In my head canon Weapon 11 is a clone and the real Wade Wilson is out there waiting to become Deadpool. Since Logan, we know that the mutants that Stryker recruited were all cloned anyway, it fits.

I like how Logan didn't get the idea to hit Fred in the face at all during this fight, despite Fred only ever going for uppercuts. It took Fred hurting himself by going for a headbutt for Logan to realize that he should hit him in the head.
You know if The Blob was an actual boxer, he could be the one to break Floyd Mayweather's winning streak. (If the blob and Floyd Mayweather was in a cameo boxing match in one of the previous X-Men movies).
In the xmen universe, mutants I imagine are banned in official boxing or there's a separate mutant division.
