- We are back to exploring the charming little towns of the Italian Dolomites. Today's virtual treadmill walk takes us to Katelruth aka Castelrotto. This gorgeous little town has amazing charm and we have a wonderful fall day to film treadmill scenery for you. We make our way around the little town from the bus station to the eponymous castle and then back down to the explore the town center and some of the surrounding residential neighborhoods.

My Story: I'm a filmmaker by trade. In 2016, we sold our house to go traveling for the year in Europe. Since I couldn't work there, I decided to start another CZcams Channel. I love walking as a way to explore and this was an easy thing to share. It got popular and I've continued. My goal is to share these treadmill travel videos to help your work out with virtual walks.

Thank you for letting me "walk" in Castelrotto. I keep this little village in my heart, since I used to go there with my parents when I was a child and there I started to love the Alps.
By the way, Carabinieri are a part of the italian armed forces, but they mostly perform usual police duties. Sometimes, especially in small towns, you will find either Polizia or Carabinieri. They are not exactly the same, but, as a civilian, you can rely on both of them with little or not difference at all.

Henry, first a sincere “thanks” for your videos! Got into virtual rides during the pandemic with my exercise bike. After staying in Castelrotto last June and visiting Seceda with my wife and family, we added a treadmill to prep better for Italy (Seceda) 2.0. Found your walks while looking for virtual walks for the treadmill. Keep narrating. And thanks, despite staying in the Cavallino D’Oro right there in the square, we never saw the hill top you visited in your walk. Didn’t know it was there! Look forward to seeing it this June.
