  • Thanksgiving is a uniquely American holiday. Every year, on the third Thursday in November, we give thanks for our blessings. We celebrate the supposed friendly interaction between the English immigrants and the Native Americans who helped them learn what to eat here in this foreign land.
Jou Aksyon de Gras (Thanksgiving) se yon jou fèt inikman Ameriken. Chak ane, sou twazyèm Jedi Novanm nan, nou di mèsi pou benediksyon nou yo. Nou selebre swadizan entèraksyon amikal ant imigran angle yo ak Ameriken natif natal yo ki te ede yo aprann sa pou yo manje isit la nan peyi etranje sa a.
Haitian families who immigrate to the United States develop their own style of Thanksgiving dinner. Here you will see some mouth-watering dishes made by Haitian friends of mine in Brooklyn, New York. The only problem is, too much delicious food. It's impossible to eat it all, but we enjoyed trying.
Fanmi ayisyen ki imigre Ozetazini devlope pwòp style yo nan dine Thanksgiving. La a ou pral wè kèk asyèt ki bay dlo nan bouch zanmi m yo te fè nan Brooklyn, New York. Pwoblèm nan sèlman se, twòp manje bon gou. Li enposib manje li tout, men nou te renmen eseye.
