They are amazing. Also, because they are so we'll insulated, they are bulletproof, fireproof, sound dampening and insulated from the cold and heat. No mold or rats or mice. You can build an underground house this way as well. As long as you divert the water away, your house will remain dry. A cement coating on the outside and a breathable coating inside (vob+Lyme paste + water-basef paint) and you will never have moisture issues. Wonderful houses that anyone can build!!
The bags are just used as a form for the bricks.. the wetting and tamping of the bags turns the soil into solid blocks.. so by the time the bag deteriorates it doesn't matter. They become as hard as concrete after a couple months
Two strands of barbed wire+ compression and friction. Then you drive rebar through several bags to pin them into place. The weight of the wall holds it together.
@@StoicObserverS i'm still not a fan of driving the rebar through the bags , just feel with a good cure it's really not needed , there are earth homes with zero ''extra strength/extra stability'' methods that have stood for hundreds of years even large structures that are 3x the size of the house in this video

@@gns-gu8xh use a cement plaster on the outside for waterproofing. On the inside first use cob, then a line paste then a water-basef paint. You want the walls to breathe inside to release moisture, not hold it. But you do not want moisture to come in from the outside.
That is so freaking awesome!! the regulations in the US would never allow something like this. we need to seriously research this here and allow more earth-friendly buildings.
