As a USC alumni I’m sorry that you didn’t get into my alma mater.
But I can tell you that I know many people who didn’t get in, went to another school and then transferred to USC in their sophomore or junior year.
And USC has a tendency to admit more transfers this way(don’t know why).
So if you’re still wanting to be a Trojan then I would recommend talking to a counselor about what is required to transfer to SC later in your school year…
Either way, I wish you the best wherever you go and I hope you make a dent in the universe!

I got rejected from USC too. As a UCLA admit, I have things to say about that ⚠️🐻 Congratulations on your admissions!! Rejection is the HARDEST thing to face, especially when it's your last few schools that say no. USC and UCB were hard to face after admission to 5 other UCs 😫
Hey, at least you have Westwood!
I went to USC in the 90s and it was far rougher around the campus than it is now.
It’s much better for Trojans to go off campus with tons more stuff to do… But it’s not Westwood!
You never know, you may decide to try USC for your graduate studies!
My favorite USC professor was a graduate of UCLA!
He’s now the head of UC Irvine, Chancellor Howard Gilman.
The point being, enjoy the great school you’re at but an opportunity might lead you back to USC!

I got rejected from Caltech and Emory but I got into Pace which was my backup
I got in ucb but not ucla.. I was waitlisted from ucla, but it was the one I really wanted.. rather unfortunate.

I just started sophomore year. At the end of my freshman year, my unweighted gpa was a 3.75 Is that decent?
Edit: After the first semester of sophomore year my gpa is a 3.83/4 Is my gpa good now?
Edit: After second semester, it’s a 3.87/4 Hopefully it will be a little better, next year.
