Very poignant and visually moving, thank you for sharing this work with us. I hope you get to make another one soon!
I really appreciate that! Yes more films are definitely coming ;) Thanks so much!
That hug at the end. So sweet, nuanced and sincere. Great performances by two amazing actors who deserve a successful career!
It's so funny how easily you can connect with someone you don't know yet have the most difficult time connecting with people you love. Really connected to this! Great job by both actors!
Two people, recently disconnected from two other people, make a connection, make each other feel better, and form a friendship. Very nice. And it doesn't hurt that both of these guys are very cute. 😏🙂
In less than 20 minutes, this filmmaker made a jaded New Yorker stop and care about 2 characters I will never know. A lesson learned. Thank you.
Touching! 🥴. This was one of those moments, that makes you go, umm. What just happened, 😂.
Excellent. The situation was very unlikely, but it gave the viewer a lot to think about. I feel for Marcus. He is very alone in his life right now, but aren’t we all? We need to find peace in ourselves and not rely on happiness from others. But we are not meant to exist alone. Social interactions are vital to survive. All of this was shown in this film. Well done.
Sem dúvida. Até escreverei um comentário no canal: "Precisamos aprender a ser sós"
Intriguing story. "We are not meant to exist alone...". Most people are partner-less therefore they are alone.
That was a masterpiece. Truly great story told by utterly believable actors. And Marcus is soooooo handsome.
Thanks so much Stefan!!!
When they hugged I almost burst into tears. What a refreshing show of talent, both on screen and behind.
Brilliant move! I love the little nuances and the way that everything fits together. International travel always seems to present opportunities for such connections (they're often brief, but memorable for a lifetime) and this film captures that beautifully.
Thanks so much Chip
Nice story about two strangers being friends to each other in difficult moments. I always believed true friendship can be found in strangers, we just need to be kind to each other and this short captures this in a very nice way. Loved the short.
Beautiful movie, honest, tender and thoughtful!
GOOSEPIMPLES.......WOW.....WHAT A BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN, ACTED & DIRECTED WORK OF ART....That realizes moments in time that can literally change a person's perspective, their life....meeting a stranger....it happens...I know personally it does...Yet I've never seen it so captivatingly, and surprisingly, and movingly portrayed in a film, that invited me along for an intimate experience, with such nakedly honest and inspired storytelling. Thank you......and Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Moving, true to life, well acted, a believable.
Very Good. I'm smiling and crying...💌
This is a masterpiece. Thank you for this. TO BE SEEN is the most powerful feeling in the whole wide world.
Very touching film. Congratulations all involved.
Nice, I could really feel the emotions of both men! Well done.
very acuretely filmed and not boring ...good!
What a wonderfully moving short film; I felt the loneliness on Marcus since I am a very lonely person...the film was simply brilliant, fancied it quite a lot
Hope to see some more of your work
Somos todos solitários
Así es .....y este corto retrata tan bien esa soledad...@@aosilva1032
You have achieved the most important thing that a short film can do: leave me wanting more! ❤🎉😊
I LOVED it as it captured anxiety fears and disappointments we all face in the same time there is this hope of a great new future
Thank you for such beautiful short film.
Fernando 🙏
Thanks for watching Fernando ☺️
I really like what this short film was saying and liked the Marcus and Andras characters.
Beautiful. Thank you for making this and sharing it.
And thanks for watching.
Wow... I am a 53 year old dude and learned more from these few minutes then I would have imagined. Thank you.
Flawless....
Wow! In 20 minutes we see into two people’s lives. Great!
Beautifully done, great actors and storyline.
Excellently done, very deep, thought provoking and a poignant moving end.
Masterful. Poignant. From the very first moments both captivating and intriguing. How is it that the gallery visitor, who has purchased a head-set in order to fully appreciate his visit to an art gallery, can possibly be declared ‘boring’ by an unknown we immediately presume to be his partner? (And viewing a Schiele - couldn’t be better!). What follows seems improbable - and yet not impossible. This explains the film’s magnetism, superbly enhanced by such intelligent acting. And we are left with feelings of regret that the bond, which briefly develops between the two, probably has little chance of ever developing into something more long-lasting - and perhaps deeper.
Thank you so much for watching the film and for taking the time to write this. It means a lot to me when someone connects with the story in such a way 🙏🏻

Well done
That was powerful. Wonderful actor. Love the writing. Also really enjoyed your more recent piece about monogamy and neighbors. Make more!
Thank you so much!! ❤️
Human relationships are very complicated; but it shouldn't be. Often, it is with a stranger that we can glimpse a way out, a path. I loved! Congratulations!
Philipp Karner, your storytelling style is indeed unique, and you've proven me right. Bravo! I also wish your Instagram posts allowed for comments.
🙏🏻
That was beautiful
This guy is very beautiful heart ❤️ I likes this boy
This speaks so clearly about the exact state of relationships. We have never had such access to connection, while also being so terrified at actually connecting and being vulnerable to another. 💕
At 59 am still learning to love myself regardless of what others think of me, being gay from the Caribbean is a hard road to travel 😢😢😢😢😢 but life goes on ..this short film hit close to my heart .thx you
Thanks so much 🙏🏼❤️
esta historia debe tener una continuidad, me deja con ganas de saber más,
Love to hear from your blessings ❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much!
"when you're gay you always hear what people think about you from early on, youre confronted with it, peoples opinion of you"
trust me bro i know all too well... the life i currently live
It's exhausting right? Thanks for watching!
@philippkarner_ thanks for uploading
Looking very nice!!😊😊
Brilliant!
Excellent film. ❤️
Thanks so much! ❤️
Masterpiece
THANK YOU ❤️
❤ such a great movie ❤
LG
encounters: this reminded me powerfully of André Gide
👌👌👏👏❤❤
Very, very well done. Not as uncommon as we may think.
I like
Well. That hit a little too close to home. My Husband of more than 10 years left me because I am “too risk averse “. Funny but for the first half of our marriage he stayed up in is office all day either with his stamp collecting or genealogy or play Sims. And that steady risk adverse quality got him out of many a jams.
Well I hear he is living an exiting unemployed life with his two new Boyfriends as he navigates securing funding for housing. Karma!
Precisamos aprender a ser sós
Gosh i resigned from dating so long ago. I guess i miss being in love
I was expecting the guy to admit that the girlfriend's friend he slept with was a guy.,
Saw myself in both characters. Really well done 🥲❤🩹
