The actual headphones come with lightning port. No adapter needed. And they sound WAAY better than my current beats somehow lol. They'll give me enough time to upgrade to wireless headphones so honestly you guys are overreacting on your dependence on an outdated jack.

iPhone 7 is basically a 6s plus with slightly better camera, slightly faster processor , slightly louder speakers, with no button or headphone jack, and hella more expensive . I still have a 6s+ running 11.4.1 and I love it

It's the new home button that puts me off, more so than the missing headphone jack. A vibrating, stiff home button is not an improvement in any way, shape or form. It's cheap and tacky and has cost-cutting plastered all over it. Not the way forward (in my opinion) for a device that has a reputation for its premium quality.

Finally getting a fucking quadcore and 3 gigs of ram is way more than only slightly better. I hate apple but those are some good ass specs. The biggest reason power users like me use Android is spec for spec they curbstomp iphones on a hardware level this is a nice upgrade.

Well, I've been a Samsung person for over 7 years now. I had the Note 4 and LOVE it. As soon as the Note 7 came out and I saw the videos I got one. The DAY AFTER I got it in the mail, lo and behold, RECALL of the device. So I go to the ATT store and ask them if it is mandatory and they said no. If you don't replace it and you are injured, Samsung will NOT be liable if you don't replace it. So I said fine, got 3 accessories that I needed and left the store. 5 days later the government steps in after FAA rules say you MUST turn off your Note 7 on any plane and then the Govt makes the recall MANDATORY. SOOO, I take my Note 7 in and they give me a Samsung Galaxy 7 Edge. It is ok, but I want my Note 7 back. 2 weeks ago, they were back in the stores and you could get your Note 7 in an exchange. I go and get it after work and tell the agent if this happens again, I will be back to return it and NOT get another one. Fast forward to Sunday the 9th of Oct and there have been 3 more issues with the "REPLACEMENT" Note 7's so now I'm FREAKING DONE with Samsung and I'm going to finally jump on the iPhone band wagon and probably go with the 7 Plus. Samsung you really screwed up a WONDERFUL phone in the Note 7 with a TERRIBLE battery and when you made the battery NON-REMOVEABLE like iPhone, I knew this was going to be a nightmare and I was right. Good bye Samsung you have done me well but I can not get over the fiasco you have created with the Note 7 so hello iPhone and welcome to my family.

December 2019. I’m a Android user. Would have been a iPhone user but when the time came to get my first phone I couldn’t justify the cost of an iPhone. I barely afforded the POS Android phone that I had. Today phones android and iOS are much better than they were in those days, and the price on Androids have gone down while the quality has gone up. iPhones the price has remained almost unobtainable for many people. Even used iPhones are crazy expensive. Take my recently purchased used but in great shape iPhone 6sPlus, it still does everything. I also have a 7+, 8+ and Xr. I mention the other phones as my point of reference. I am familiar with the operation of most of the newer iPhones. Though not the 11. The 6s+ runs just fine. If you are looking for a smooth fast stable phone that does everything you need it to do. Unless you just feel the need to spend more money than you need to. A 6s+ is a great phone even in 2020. If you buy one, be sure to get what covers your needs, true for any phone purchase. I always use to run out of memory in the early days so now I only purchase 128 or more. Like apple or not, they have designers that can build a device with well balanced equipment. Software to hardware balance is probably the best there is. What do I mean by software to hardware balance. Most iPhones have processor and ram capacity about half of most androids these days yet still manage to be just as fast, just as capable, and run longer on a smaller battery. Apple is anything but generous. They also tend to over build their products. This is why Apple killed so many of the older iPhones and iPads with their battery throttle BS. I had a iPad two, for 6 years or so and it worked perfectly up until that fateful last update that throttled the processor or ram or both. And it killed battery life by 50%. Our problem was buying Apple. Their problem was making them to last. So they had to put a bunch of that older hardware out to pasture early. Force people to buy new stuff. Sales were down, they had to do something. Things being what they are, a few days from 2020, they are still over building, and the 6s+ is proof of it. It boots to home screen faster than the 7+, 8+ or Xr. And still runs just as smoothly, though not as quickly, older phone has less ram and slower processor. But still plenty fast. I’m not a Apple fan and never will be. But I love my iPads and the iPhones are growing on me. If you are new to iPhones and have the opportunity to get a good 6s+ for a reasonable price. I say do it. They are just as good as any other iPhone, and there is rumor that it may be getting ios14. Even is 13 is as far as it goes, it’s a fine device, and there are millions of older iPhones out there that only went to 12 or 10 etc and are still being used without issue.
Pretty much both phones are the same but different in price. The little things they made different is not a big change at all and yet everything is double the price, crazy.
Actually the processor is way better then the 6s plus and the display and camera so please get your facts right. If your poor and can’t afford the iPhone 7 Plus than stop discouraging people in the comment section???
I’m Upset that I upgraded because it’s the same exact thing I want from iPhone 6s to an I phone 8+. And to be honest the 6S is better than the 8+. The only difference between the 7+ and the 8+ is the back. When both phones have a phone case no one can tell the difference because they function the exact same way.
Man to be honest this is not much of a upgrade I think I'll keep my 6s plus and wait for the 7s or the 8 to arrive. I'm doing fine running the iOS 10 on my 6 plus lol it feels like I have a 7 right now.

I had the V10 and have been an android fan for years but I just recently switch to the iPhone 7 plus and wow I can't believe it. My battery can last more than a day with decent amount of use, I can take pictures identical to my dslr and it's just faster overall
You missed the very important point that the 7 Plus can have 256GB, but the 6s Plus only 128 GB. The big temptation to stay with the 6s Plus is the old sockets for all my old headphones, and Im not too keen on the single socket extension. Great review! I learned a lot. Thanks!!

i think they fucked up by removing the headphone jack think about it...if you're at a friends house or a party and you wanna share your music and all they have is a regular old aux cable you're screwed. ..i think in the long run they took a step backwards.

Just got my 2nd hand ip6s+. I just replaced the battery & it perform like new. Im not interested on any latest iphone. Co’s im poor, proly i will upgrade again after 3 or 4 more years to a higher 2nd hand iphone. Proly XS max. Just replace a battery then it all good to go like new...🐒🙊
The only thing that bothers me about the 7 is the home button... I'm used to pressing itand feeling the press, since it's "activated" based on pressure too much pressure brings up Siri
You can change the weight and light touch or a heavy touch for the home button so if you barely touch it it will go tot the Home Screen while if you hold the home button is will bring up Siri or switch Siri to voice control only.
Ugh it's literally the same thing just a higher price tag might just ask for the 6s plus instead what's really pushing me away is the no headphone jack I'm the type of person who likes to listen to music and charge my phone at the same time (occasionally) even though your not supposed to But now here's the real question what color? I’m one of those people that upgrade to every new iPhone since the start on day 1. I had some ordering issues with the 7+ and ordered at 3:11am EDT (11 minutes after opening). My phone is coming on the 20th and I`m starting to have doubts if I`ll keep it or not. Apple along with ATT are making it hard to resell, my current iPhone 6S Plus is worth less than 600$, due to price and storage shifts.... While I have to pay full price for the 7 (no more contracts...) I`m actually on the fence if I want to keep the iPhone 7+ and sell 6S+. My 128GB 6S+ still has a year warranty left and iOS10 performance seemed to be fine... I do like the new camera, water resistance and of course faster guts, but at the same time it feels like a transitioning model.... I do hate losing the headphone jack and a little scared of the new button.... (hate how iOS10 unlocks now). The iPhone 7+ 256GB in black is coming Tuesday and I need to make a decision....

I'm somewhat of an audiophile and a photographer and require around 128 gigs minimum on my phone. So I would go with the 6S because of that. You really don't sacrifice much with the 6S

Pretty sure the base model for the iPhone 6s Plus is 16gb. Pretty sure those no such thing as a 32gb iPhone before the 7. I'd know because I have the 6s plus and was forced to get the 64gb because the other option was 16gb

Honestly I'm going to get the iPhone 6s plus because I'm not ready to sacrifice the headphone jack just so the phone can maybe survive in a bit of water on the off chance I drop it. They both have a 12mp camera and can shoot in 4k which is fine for me and I don't really care about the antenna lines either. I'll wait for the 7s and then maybe I'll be ready to give up the headphone jack.
So the headphone Jack on the iPhone 7 Plus is actually the charger port and when you buy a 7 plus they v give you pair of headphones that fit the charger port and double as your charger plug in.
I just sold my iPhone 5s last week which have been with me for more than 3yrs, and it feels like I have separation anxiety, lol! I have a spare phone (android) that I am using right now but I have been watching lots of video reviews in CZcams now to make me decide which I will buy for my birthday, the 6s Plus or the 7 Plus. Now I am decided I will go with the 6s Plus! I still love the feel of the home button being pushed down and the earphone jack for my music. I can live with a non dual-camera phone, I am satisfied with my 5s before so I am sure I will be too in 6s. 😊😉

Just for a clearance, the 7 and 7plus are WATER RESISTANT, NOT WATER PROOF therefore you can get water damage plus apple is not upping the warranty if water damage happens, so keep that in mind.

Take my recently purchased used but in great shape iPhone 6sPlus, it still does everything. I also have a 7+, 8+ and Xr. I mention the other phones as my point of reference. I am familiar with the operation of most of the newer iPhones. Though not the 11.
The 6s+ runs just fine. If you are looking for a smooth fast stable phone that does everything you need it to do. Unless you just feel the need to spend more money than you need to. A 6s+ is a great phone even in 2020. If you buy one, be sure to get what covers your needs, true for any phone purchase. I always use to run out of memory in the early days so now I only purchase 128 or more. Like apple or not, they have designers that can build a device with well balanced equipment. Software to hardware balance is probably the best there is. What do I mean by software to hardware balance. Most iPhones have processor and ram capacity about half of most androids these days yet still manage to be just as fast, just as capable, and run longer on a smaller battery. Apple is anything but generous.
They also tend to over build their products. This is why Apple killed so many of the older iPhones and iPads with their battery throttle BS. I had a iPad two, for 6 years or so and it worked perfectly up until that fateful last update that throttled the processor or ram or both. And it killed battery life by 50%.
Our problem was buying Apple. Their problem was making them to last. So they had to put a bunch of that older hardware out to pasture early. Force people to buy new stuff. Sales were down, they had to do something. Things being what they are, a few days from 2020, they are still over building, and the 6s+ is proof of it. It boots to home screen faster than the 7+, 8+ or Xr. And still runs just as smoothly, though not as quickly, older phone has less ram and slower processor. But still plenty fast.
I’m not a Apple fan and never will be. But I love my iPads and the iPhones are growing on me.
If you are new to iPhones and have the opportunity to get a good 6s+ for a reasonable price. I say do it.
They are just as good as any other iPhone, and there is rumor that it may be getting ios14. Even is 13 is as far as it goes, it’s a fine device, and there are millions of older iPhones out there that only went to 12 or 10 etc and are still being used without issue.

I’m Upset that I upgraded because it’s the same exact thing I want from iPhone 6s to an I phone 8+. And to be honest the 6S is better than the 8+. The only difference between the 7+ and the 8+ is the back. When both phones have a phone case no one can tell the difference because they function the exact same way.
Man to be honest this is not much of a upgrade I think I'll keep my 6s plus and wait for the 7s or the 8 to arrive. I'm doing fine running the iOS 10 on my 6 plus lol it feels like I have a 7 right now.
Its probably not worth an upgrade and you miss out on an audio jack if you do upgrade. I recently upgraded to an iphone 6s plus from a samsung galaxy s3 id been using since 2012. Safe to say ill be keeping my iphone for 5+ years

I had the V10 and have been an android fan for years but I just recently switch to the iPhone 7 plus and wow I can't believe it. My battery can last more than a day with decent amount of use, I can take pictures identical to my dslr and it's just faster overall

You missed the very important point that the 7 Plus can have 256GB, but the 6s Plus only 128 GB. The big temptation to stay with the 6s Plus is the old sockets for all my old headphones, and Im not too keen on the single socket extension. Great review! I learned a lot. Thanks!!

Just got my 2nd hand ip6s+. I just replaced the battery & it perform like new. Im not interested on any latest iphone. Co’s im poor, proly i will upgrade again after 3 or 4 more years to a higher 2nd hand iphone. Proly XS max. Just replace a battery then it all good to go like new...🐒🙊
The only thing that bothers me about the 7 is the home button... I'm used to pressing itand feeling the press, since it's "activated" based on pressure too much pressure brings up Siri
You can change the weight and light touch or a heavy touch for the home button so if you barely touch it it will go tot the Home Screen while if you hold the home button is will bring up Siri or switch Siri to voice control only.
Ugh it's literally the same thing just a higher price tag might just ask for the 6s plus instead what's really pushing me away is the no headphone jack I'm the type of person who likes to listen to music and charge my phone at the same time (occasionally) even though your not supposed to But now here's the real question what color? I'm not a pinky person so rose gold is not an option .

I’m one of those people that upgrade to every new iPhone since the start on day 1. I had some ordering issues with the 7+ and ordered at 3:11am EDT (11 minutes after opening). My phone is coming on the 20th and I`m starting to have doubts if I`ll keep it or not. Apple along with ATT are making it hard to resell, my current iPhone 6S Plus is worth less than 600$, due to price and storage shifts.... While I have to pay full price for the 7 (no more contracts...) I`m actually on the fence if I want to keep the iPhone 7+ and sell 6S+. My 128GB 6S+ still has a year warranty left and iOS10 performance seemed to be fine... I do like the new camera, water resistance and of course faster guts, but at the same time it feels like a transitioning model.... I do hate losing the headphone jack and a little scared of the new button.... (hate how iOS10 unlocks now). The iPhone 7+ 256GB in black is coming Tuesday and I need to make a decision....

Pretty sure the base model for the iPhone 6s Plus is 16gb. Pretty sure those no such thing as a 32gb iPhone before the 7. I'd know because I have the 6s plus and was forced to get the 64gb because the other option was 16gb
They changed it. 16GB and 64GB are no longer available. There is now an option for 32GB. Check the Apple website

Honestly I'm going to get the iPhone 6s plus because I'm not ready to sacrifice the headphone jack just so the phone can maybe survive in a bit of water on the off chance I drop it. They both have a 12mp camera and can shoot in 4k which is fine for me and I don't really care about the antenna lines either. I'll wait for the 7s and then maybe I'll be ready to give up the headphone jack.
So the headphone Jack on the iPhone 7 Plus is actually the charger port and when you buy a 7 plus they v give you pair of headphones that fit the charger port and double as your charger plug in.
I just sold my iPhone 5s last week which have been with me for more than 3yrs, and it feels like I have separation anxiety, lol! I have a spare phone (android) that I am using right now but I have been watching lots of video reviews in CZcams now to make me decide which I will buy for my birthday, the 6s Plus or the 7 Plus. Now I am decided I will go with the 6s Plus! I still love the feel of the home button being pushed down and the earphone jack for my music. I can live with a non dual-camera phone, I am satisfied with my 5s before so I am sure I will be too in 6s. 😊😉

Just for a clearance, the 7 and 7plus are WATER RESISTANT, NOT WATER PROOF therefore you can get water damage plus apple is not upping the warranty if water damage happens, so keep that in mind.
