- We camp out at North Lefroy Ningaloo. Is it worth the 50ks of corrugations? How to dust proof a caravan. We cover all this and more in this video as part of our big lap around Australia. This is family caravan life at its best.
Situated on the Ningaloo coast half way between Coral Bay and Exmouth is a series of awesome campground right along side the beach where you can access some great fishing and potentially snorkeling on the Ningaloo reef.
We stayed at the North Lefroy campgrounds and explored what the area had to offer. We found some great beaches and managed to catch a couple of fish at South Lefroy where the reef is within swimming distance in a good day. But due to the strong current between the reef and the beach we found it unsuitable fir our kids.
Heading north from our camp ground at North Lefroy we made it to Yardie Creek to see if it would be suitable to cross with our caravan. Due to the times for the high tide we found that it would not be doable for us but at least we got to check it out. Along the way we also checked out Bundera sinkhole where we learned that it is the home for some very unique species such as the Cape Range Remipede which is the only know Remepide species found in the entire Southern Hemisphere.
We also share with you how we manage dust prevention in our caravan whilst we travel the long dusty roads around Australia.
We hope you enjoy this video and it’s of some help to help plan your very own epic adventures.
"Don't tell me how educated you are, tell me how much you have traveled". Your kids get the best education.....travel is their teacher and the road is their school. Much respect to both of you 🙏!
Thanks heaps mate. Sometimes we do question ourselves on if it’s the best thing for the kids. But it seems like they are learning well enough from our travels.
Love the night photography.
Thanks. I’ve have found interest in it again since being in the bush and admiring the night sky.
So why did you borrow your wife's glasses?????
Another great video.
I wonder how many people from overseas you inspire to come to OZ.
Haha. I usual wear contact lenses. But must not have bothered this time.
Thanks for coming along on another one of our adventures.
@@AdventuringPals you are really living the dream.
You can't live the dream permanently it's not sustainable, but you need to seized it and make hay whilst the sun shines.
@@Steven_Rowe yeah we feel pretty lucky we can do it.
@@AdventuringPals perhaps body language but your wife looks at you with doting eyes and you have two wonderful boys.
Money can't buy that.
A good wife is more precious than Gold
@@Steven_Rowe it’s true what they say. Happy wife happy life. Mate I’m must be the luckiest bloke going. My wife is the reason we can do what we are doing.

Yeah we have done pretty well in deciding to get out and see Australia. It’s something that is going to shape our families future too.
Hope you're buying that tape in bulk. Have you considered using glad wrap on the whole van? haha. Travelling is hard work. But I'd still rather be where you are.
Haha I used to have some cut out bits of ag material but that’s long gone so good ole duct tape it is for now haha.
We in lock down now in Darwin. It’s good fun being locked down in a caravan with kids lol.
@@AdventuringPals Bugger. Be grateful it's not raining too. Make sure you get a video out of this.
@@NasTimeAdventures yeah I could do with the down time. Just gotta get off Netflix and start editing
Put a screw in them air vents on either side Don't ask how I know lol (Stainless)
Haha. Thanks mate. I have done that with the replacement one.
G,day Pals all looking good . Have a look a true kit or taka cat ? 😍😊👍🇦🇺
Hi mate. Thanks again for following us along. I would absolutely love to add some sort of boat to our kit but unfortunately we don’t have the weight capability yet. When we get home next I’ll ditch all my work tool and look at a boat of some sort. Will keep your recommendations in mind. Thanks.
@@AdventuringPals make sure it’s big enough for a decky, all be it a burnt out one. Three years and counting 😁🇦🇺
@@grahamwhittaker8844 yeah I had a look at them online. They look to be good and are light weight. I’ll have to get one big enough for all of us to fish from lol.
you don't run your fridge on gas while you're driving do you
No certainty not. It runs on 12volt whist we are driving.
