  • Welcome back to Yorkshire, and possibly the most problematic video I've ever had to record, as this took at least 10 takes before I got it right! I will include the links below for all the mods I've installed here, including a Yorkshire announcements pack and an advanced destination display mod. As always, I hope you enjoy the drive!

Are you using an outdated or updated version of the bus or is it just modded? because it seems quite different to the version i have because the version i have has the 1, 2, D, N, R setup on the gear box and the audio is different as well (Yes, am aware of the announcements patch\mod for this bus).
Also, do you actually try to avoid triggering passenger complaints? i'm asking this because i watched a few of your videos and must of the time you seem to be triggering passenger complaints more than once to which i guess is unintentional.

I've found that it's sadly difficult to avoid passenger complaints when driving with a keyboard, and during lag spikes. I do try my best! I'm tempted to just delete the audio files of the complaints tbh lol. As for the bus, there are a few different variants.. for example the B7TL variant. I can't remember which one I used in this video, but maybe you're using the other one?

I have both the London version and the regional version of the alx400 bus but i tend to use the regional version the most since i find it's gear box setup useful because you can use it to restrict the speed to 50 km/h which i do believe roughly 30mph and the sounds are more realistic (well at least from my point of view). i don't know if the regional version has been updated since i downloaded it.
i'm guessing you prefer not to have the auto neutralizing\centering of steering the wheel enabled because having that enabled makes it easier to drive with the keyboard but at the same it makes it awkward because you have keep taping left or right rapidly to keep the bus in line with the road especially when going around a sharp turn.

JoshWoakes I do have auto centring enabled actually! A trick a viewer pointed out to me on one of my old videos, is that if you hold both left and right steering buttons together then you can lock the steering wheel in place until you release one or both of the buttons. (Hard to explain, but easy if you try it!)

To be honest i never actually thought about doing that.
Also in a way I would say you're technically using input overload exploit to your advantage but my guess is the developers of OMSI most of thought about it and programmed it that way intentionally to not only stop the steering wheel either going nuts or just spinning in one direction but to make a neat trick to make it less awkward.
