- Back today with the Gemini 3/Steetdeck, which remains my favourite double decker by far, with a Stagecoach repaint from fellowsfilm. Taken back to an oldish map, Buses of the Westcountry. Unfortunately the drive starts off a little laggy until I reach the 2nd stop, and sees an fps drop again around Paignton Zoo - not sure why, but you may wish to skip past those parts.

the buzzer every time you close the doors is slightly annoying, it only does that when you release the handbrake whilst the doors are still closing
A bad habit I've picked up from the drivers here in London xD
I "crash" the software so it just screams while the doors are open. It's fun. Sometimes this "crash" can cause the bus not to restart automatically.
Where I am, the bus won't move until the doors are shut and the buzzer only goes off when the rear doors are closing. They continue to buzz if I have to open them again because someone changes their mind about getting off.
@@Lukeo I do it often to get back on schedule or regain some lost time. I can gain 30 seconds but lose it when someone messes around with change, etc.
Does this have the engine cut out feature like the ones i drive in London 🤔 lol
Love this bus man, but in London they dont sound like this, they are hybrids.
Funnily enough my company go-ahead have a route 35, but i dont recall seeing em use these streetdecks.
And also stagecoach have none of these nor do abellio for some reason
We have some hybrids in Sheffield there ussaly 52 and 120 and only stagecoach has them

I actually edited them in, as it was much easier than creating a downloadable pack - when I get time though, I'll make a download pack if no one else does before me

I was going to make an announcement pack, but I ended up just editing them in to the video! I might make a downloadable pack if no one else does soon, if I get time to
@@Lukeo Thanks so much! I found announcements but they don't work because they are for BoTW v2.7 and I also have an issue with the streetdeck. For some reason it doesn't detect when I leave the stop and the ticketer should show the next stop but it never does for some reason. I set my route and timetable but it just doesn't work. Great video by the way! 😃
OrangeEntertainment oo ok, for the Streetdeck it grabs announcement files from a different folder. If you move the announcement audio files in to the folder OMSI 2/Vehicles/Announcements/Masterswitch/BoTW v2.9/ then they should work.
OrangeEntertainment I’ve no idea why the ticketer doesn’t work.. for me I’ve actually found it to be very reliable! Is it like that for every map? You could try asking for help on the fellowsfilm forums, as I can’t really think of anything right now
@@Lukeo Yeah, it's on every map. I did put the announcements in the Masterswitch folder but they still don't work. I asked on Fellowsfilm about a month or two ago but nobody ever replied and had about 100 views

MaxQualityNews you can either buy omninav (you can add any map you want) or bus company simulator (has a fixed set of maps but also includes other features like the bar top right of my screen)

Passengers complaining over NOTHING!!! LOL!!! If they did that on my bus I would tell them if don't like it get off & BLOODY WELL WALK!!! 😁😁😁😁. If I was a bus driver & a female said to me hi sweetie or hi love or hi handsome I'd be thinking all sorts & REALLY TRYING!!! to keep my mind on my job 😮😀😁 LOL!!!!

Actually, some complaints were indeed valid. But, to be fair, braking in one of these buses is horrible. For some reason, you put your foot down and nothing then braking, then the retarder comes in and over brakes, so you have to release, rinse and repeat. The final stopping is usually quite harsh.
The Gemini 2 has much better brakes, but these buses have electric steering and when you want to steer fast, it doesn't keep up.
The mirrors on this aren't realistic. You should be able to see more, but it looks like they are drawn flat and aimed backwards while showing you what you should see. If the mirror was positioned correctly on the model, it would be far clearer. Same with the interior mirror as well.
I have no idea why you have Red 1 and 2 a lot on this bus. You don't even have the eTank warning light come on at all.
Flashing headlights on this is very slow on these buses.
That passenger who pressed the bell as you were taking off - next stop now. If you do this with live traffic on the roads, you can and will irritate traffic behind you.
The passengers should never stand on the platform area while waiting for their stop.
Just like the bus before this, for some reason the bell notification icon is easily hidden when you are turning corners and a stop is there. The icon needs to be somewhere else. On this model, it should be on the right side and remain there. When the retarder icon comes up and goes, it's also green and goes on and off with the brakes.
