  • Seems to be another common issue on the 2007-2014 GMT900 full size SUV where the blower motor will only work on certain speeds, or completely stop working. It turned out to be a bad motor, and fixing it was not very difficult at all.

Looks like a SUPER easy repair! I have an 01 mustang, a fellow u tuber showed me how to clean up the original non-working blower motor and oil it and brought it back to life. 4 years now still working

Tell me about it! I love it, but the GM quality is just horrible.

What I really wanted to know was how it was removed

Have you had a "clunk" when you reverse or start to take off that sounds like its from the front right tire yet? Everytime you go from reverse to drive and then it feels like somethings (tie rod) loose and THUMPS back into place! It does this if you take slow, hard turns also and when you straighten out.....THUMP! Im told its a tie rod but have not got to it yet! Oh, amd dont forget the notorious oil pressure sensor that you have to jack tne frame up to get to it lol. I have bought GM products (few Fords and a dodge) all my life but im DONE! TOYOTA Tacoma or Nissan Frontier im told by many is the quality, longevity and access to repairs that we have been missing so thats my next direction! I dont care where its made, I just want a dependable vehicle that I CAN maintain lol.

I hear ya. This one had the tie rod ends replaced before I bought it. I haven't noticed that. I did have a clunk which felt like it was coming from the rear but it was the drivers side engine mount. This Chevy trucks are great, but the quality and reliability is just terrible. It's a shame.

If Toyota made something like a Suburban (seats 9 and still has large rear cargo) I would buy it.
And I just did the oil pressure sensor, sits at the back of the intake manifold, a tight squeeze but done in 1 hour, no lifting the frame or whatever you mention.
