- Fran has decided to leave the family to marry her ex-fiancee, Danny.
From Season 1 Episode 21, 'Frannie's Choice'. Through Val, Fran learns that her ex-fiancee, Danny, is single. He asks Fran to marry him. Fran thinks the offer through and eventually agrees. However, she has to leave the Sheffields to be with Danny, which makes everyone sad. Fran ultimately chooses to stay with the Sheffields and dumps Danny.

Tbh, Maxwell is a great friend. He tries not to let his feelings get in the way but when Fran is making a dangerous choice, he never fails to get upset and show her how much he really cares about her wellbeing.
But at the same time he's possesive and ruins her dates yet won't make a move on her
@@meghantheestallionrunpop he points out obvious flaws in the people she's dating (which she would've ignored) and has never once actively stopped a date unless he really thought she was in danger. She has actually interferred actively in his love life (albeit usually because the woman he's dating is awesome and she becomes obsessed with HER)
@@meghantheestallionrunpop plus, you can't blame him for not wanting to start a relationship and possibly jeopardize his connection with the only person who has actually bonded with his children on a deep, emotional level since their mother died.
@@Jadzebra and still. You cannot deny that he was obviously jealous of every date shes ever been on. It aggravates me because he wasn't jealous because of him being scared of the possible red flags in the guys, he was jealous because HE wanted to be those guys, yet never made a move on her
@@meghantheestallionrunpop I mean Fran did the same thing. She even used guys to make Maxwell jealous. I agree he should've just made a move on her, but he wasn't really possessive. Plus, he had to also think of the fact that dating one of his employees changes a lot of things.

I find it really sweet on how upset Brighton reacts about Fran leaving.. Especially when remembering the episode where Max said that she's the first nanny that Brighton made any connection with ❤️
I remember that! It was the second episode I think and Max said Fran was the first person Brighton connected with after his mother's death, she was the only one who could handle him. It said a lot about the impact Fran had on these kids lives that they couldn't imagine their lives without her in the short time she was there.
"No one could ever replace you, Miss Fine." 1:02 Truer words were never spoken.
And no one has since the nanny went off the air :( it happened too soon.

The joke was that since no man wants her, the way she brings “happiness” to herself is “self-induced” through use of erotic electronic toys and getting drunk to sooth her sorrows. That’s what Fran was referring to by battery and scotch”, not what CC claimed. CC is happy about Fran leaving because she thinks she now has a chance at getting Maxwell, hence her celebration.
I hate how she thinks Fran leaving means she will be wanted 😂😂 like girl read a room nobody wants you !
