I like using the heat shrink butt connectors, especially on thinner wires, even though there inside. I feel it gives a little extra strength to the connection.

Hello, I normally buy my figures on Ebay when they are cheap. I try to stick with Woodland Scenics and MTH figures. The ones from China are not that good.

I own a dremel tool. You can pick them up for a reasonable price at home depot or Lowes
