  • Here is another pastry recipe for losar.
    200g flour
    2 eggs
    1/2 g baking soda
    100g water
    150g sugar
    1 tablespoon honey

    Paldenla, thank you for this recipe. It’s like you read my mind. My Amala often talks about her favourite snack when she was a child in Tibet , which happens to be this very dish. And I thought of writing to you to ask for this recipe when i watched your “sanga Bhelep” video.

    Thank you for this recipe. I remember that I had made you a request for this. Looks simple and delicious. My sister makes this but she always uses ‘ borom’ jaggery instead of sugar syrup. Many thanks Palden la. Another suggestion I have is making traditional guthuk with all the surprises like simarangko etc. I think it will be very popular as Lossar is around the corner. There are some recipes on Utube but not the true traditional one. Thank you.

      3.3x the amount I used :)
      for example you would need at least 7 eggs.
