A good man killing a bad man sounds so simple but this just captures the pain and the desperation to find a reason not to do it even though you have no choice.

This scene in particular is why I never understood people who said the show started off slow. Watching a regular teacher kill a man is intense and instantly hooked me.

"This line of work doesn't suit you" never before has someone been proven more wrong
He couldn’t be more wrong
He was right. The line of work didn't suit Walter White. He had to become and entirely new person and change everything about himself. He created the alter ego Heisenberg in order to have an alias, but it also allowed him the excuse that when he would do wrong it wasn't him, it was "Heisenberg", until eventually Heisnberg took over his entire state of being.
@@GOATKAMAROV well said
It didn't suit him yet

Its just sad after Walt realized that krazy8 took that one piece of the broken plate

This scene was what definitely got me hooked into breaking bad. Him realising a piece was missing from the plate showed how intelligent Walt was.
It’s interesting to see Walter apologizing even though later on he kills tons of people with no remourse

You know what it’s sad what happened to crazy 8 (Domingo) before breaking bad. He was an usual guy that got into this stuff beaten and then even jailed.
The way Vince shows the process of how a man changes is just terrifying
This was a hell of a twist when he put the plate together and seen the missing piece. Now that’s brilliant story telling. This series was stellar!
Krazy 8: "Get out before it's too late"
Walter had no idea how right he was
Honestly this my be my fav scene in the show, Walter arranging the plate shows his intelligence . Another reason I like it is because of the sheer realization that the plate piece is gone and that has to do what he truly never wanted to do, take a life
From "I'm so sorry" to "say my name"
I like how domingo is somehow relevant in the story and unimportant and in bcs we got to see more of him and how was he at the beginning
If you pay attention to Domingo in BCS. You can clearly see, this line of work didnt suite him. Crazy how much BCS makes BB even better now. This is just next level writing. Bravo!

"Is this gonna be on the murder?"
"What?"
"Is this going to be on the midterm?"

Well maybe no. But still, prepare for it. Can't hurt to know
Breaking bad perfectly encompasses the question of how easy it can be to see a good man become evil over time
This is brilliantly edited! Bravo, Luciano Films!
The first season was so good
From Krazy 8 running down the street half dead to the guts falling through the floor, it sounds genius but ultimately Gould and Gilligan just walk down the thought process of what would happen next instead of skipping to casting heart throbs and pizaz for camera shots. So perfect
N just like that, im gonna have rewatch it all again. Ffs.
Same!
Season 1 was so underrated
I watched this episode recently since I’m just starting it. And I really did feel hurt seeing Walt be forced to kill him. And he was right, getting to know him just didn’t make things easier
i like the small detail of walter never forgetting crazy-8 and always cutting the crust off his sandwiches after that day
The moment that made me love Breaking Bad
This has a whole different feeling now that we see more of Krazy 8 in bcs
That scene remains one of the tensest scenes i have ever watched
This show is a big irony. Just like tragedies were used to be written back in the day.
Which is probably why it was an instant classic
Can’t wait to rewatch this once BCS S6 finishes.
The shattered plate kind of symbolized Walter for me in this scene, this was the first crack to Walter White and his first steps to becoming Heisenberg
Seeing Walt go from this, to literally disposing of someone that disrespects him is an amazing transformation.
It's definitely an insanely deep character arc
Possibly one of the only good edits in existence
This moment was amazing in the show. But I just feel like it would be thousands of times better. If Walter had a whole episode getting to know Krazy 8 and deciding if he should kill him.
It kinda was like that. He talked to him for about 10 minutes. And that + the plate scene where my favourite in whole season 1.
These edits usually don’t hit that hard, but this was one of the best episodes in the show
This is actually a good edit and not just a filter with some music. Nice job 👍
This episode was incredible. It took place mostly in a basement yet we were shown waves of where this series was headed. I will always remember this episode. Vince Gilligan is a genius
Man this show was,😭
Best fucking show in history
This is one of the few times I shed a tear while watching breaking bad
Good old times when I started getting hooked on this show. I'm glad I was a few seasons late cause I was binge watching after this episode.
This was a fantastic series and I loved how this is the gateway into him becoming more and more ruthless with everything he does but still showing signs of the nice version of him
This scene shook me. I really don't know if I could do something like that, aand I hope I never find out.
You could. Given the right circumstances, you would.
I would have but it would haunt me with a gun probably not as terrible
This edit actually made the show look like a thriller
this was one of the best episodes of the entire series for me. Incredible dissection of early walt’s character and the acting is phenomenal.

People like to point at this moment as a moment to show Walt's goodness but I think all it shows is his pride. He DID have a choice, when it comes to taking a life there is ALWAYS a choice it's simply that most men do not have the guts to take it. Walt could have called the police and simply turned himself in. Sure he'd get arrested but he could ensure his families protection especially with Hank in the DEA, but no. A prideful man like walt couldn't stand to put the protection of his family into more capable hands and as such that thought was quickly made an impossibility.
This wasn't the moment Walt lost himself to his darkness. It was the moment walt CHOSE it, as he saw it as the means to further what he saw as a "masculine" man who "protects his family" (which he fails at) when in reality the whole journey he takes is nothing more but a childish power trip, that results in the death of hundreds of people several of whom were children.
Walt is not a man he's a little boy, pretending to be a man, and it's the rest of the world that had to pay the price. So is the tale of all pseudo-men.
"More capable hands"? I think you need reality check son.
He killed Emilio and tried to turn himself in. He would have also landed Jesse in jail. He also tried to destroy evidence. Why would the DEA give him protection. In case Krazy8 gets out and goes after his family? It would be obvious who it was.
Lol feminist cope detected
he did not have a choice by simply turning himself in. the gangs that live up there go out for family kids they're ruthless. walt was even prepared to release him and let be if he held his word but krazy 8 decided to betray him (not to mention he tried to kill him before this incident)
he dug his own grave, while walt was trying to protect his family with a disabled son trying to give him what he didnt
This show is still easily one of my favorite shows ever. Everything is so good in it
All because he had cancer, he knew he was not going to live too long and he wanted to keep something for his wife and son and eventually making him one of the most wanted person 🥺
Seeing how significant this scene is after completing the show. Sheeeeesh
Holy moly great music choice. Message to Bears is amazing
Wow the editing is incredible, such a heavy episode and its perfectly summed up in this clip, makes me want to rewatch BB.

Holy shit this is the best edit I've ever seen on CZcams shorts.
Heck, one of the best in CZcams in general.
Huge respect 👌
I still can't believe he started cuddling with his body right after
Krazy-8 is only in 3 episodes in BrBa but he’s in like 10+ episodes of Better Call Saul (as Domingo). I love how small characters from BrBa got more screentime in BCS.
Yooo man that's actually better than original scene! Masterpiece brother🎉
That shot with him at the top of the basement stairs is tremendous 👌🏽
Best edit so far, earned a sub!
This is the episode I got hooked up with BB
The edit in this clip is 10/10
The only good edit ive ever seen
I wish I could turn back time and see the show come out and watch beginning to end all over again. Its just such a good show. Feel like the shyed away from the premise a bit to go after a broader audience but at the end of the day it's still amazing and I would kill to see more of Bryan Cranston as anyone. Such a phenomenal actor and all around person. Love that man ever since a kid watching Malcolm in the Middle.
This is one of the biggest scenes in the whole series it really changed how things were going he crossed a line right there.
This show was next level. Everything about it. Especially Brian Cranston. Legend.
Actually a good edit, good on you mate.
"The paths we take huh."
Damn this show had goooood lines.
this whole little period of time and the others like it where walt is deciding wether to kill someone and looking for a reason not too. scenes and episodes like that are what contribute to breaking bad being one of the greatest tv shows
Blinded by your own hand, as surely as if you had held the burning wire. One thousand decisions made in the name of a desaturated existence. Look up from your watch and tell me when you will grant forgiveness to the one most lacking.
