The good news is, you've got a couple decades' worth of music to go through now, and it'll all be new to you! I recommend listening to their albums from start to finish (without skipping around) at least once, because most of their albums are kind of like stories, with each song being a chapter within the story whole. But it's a feeling instead of words. Idk how to describe it... every album has a different sound and style.

Well.. this might not sound like the old IM but yall have to admit that these guys are genious. They always come up with great melodies to their tracks, and i wont act like those who give up on them because they are evolving. On oppose, ill support them because they never failed to amaze me and im even happier that through all these years they keep gaining fans that like them and follow them through their career. Im glad that even after all these years they became something bigger and they didnt dissappear being stuck to the same ideas.!!

I agree, to hear where they came from and to hear that they are still playing now is so great. Music is ever evolving and so are they! But one thing is for sure, their killer basslines never fail to blow me away :D
Thank for not being a snobby IM fan. I love their old stuff but that dones't mean their new stuff isn't just as amazing, if not in a different way. They always manage to blow me away with the new rhythms and melodies, no song ever sounds even remotely the same. I can't wait to keep hearing them evolve.
I actually feel like Return to the Sauce, Spitfire & this track are very true to the IM identity. Of course it's much more refined and modern, and this track in particular isn't as dark as their early albums, but it somehow connects the extremes of the rougher Gathering/Classical Mushroom/Supervisor on one side and the calmer CV1/CV2/FoM stuff on the other side, without becoming some dull average. I think IM has never been in better shape, you can really hear the two decades of experience in how they have been balancing heavy dark basslines with brighter vocals and melodies lately.

IM sure has changed over the years! Very different from their earlier stuff, but still great! Got to respect them for evolving yet still keeping they're distinct unique style.
