    @anzidmtg would it be possible to get the match I played with Gabriel as well? That game 2 was really interesting in particular.

    I don't understand why ur murktide at the game 2 don't keep the first hand. Sure its not proactive hand but he have 1 dispute , 1 counterspell, land and bauble with fetchland for found maybe creature.

      @MiohitoKiri5474 yes i understand but living end don't play gemstone cavern normally just temur rhino play gemstone cavern in main and 1 more in side. But you are right this hand it's not agressive vs living end 😉 i know very good this matchup i m UR Murktide and i play magic competitive ( tournament EU as LEC, etc...) Thanks lot of for your response ❤

      Now some LE players run gemstone, but at the time having another potentially colorless land was not feasible.
      I would have kept that 6 if I were Max, but I understand the logic: even against LE you need to play a tempo game; many permission spells but no pressure does not work that well. He was probably looking for a 1 drop + permissions.

    The reason he goes for island in response to blood moon is because if he draws an ent he can still get a basic forest, ontop of being able to cycle all of his cyclers. Green might look promising due to outburst, but you cant bank on an outburst vs murktide, even if a topdeck outburst probably wins on the spot. He just went for the safer play. With that said he should not have gotten basic blue if he decides to counter the blood moon, atleast imo.

      Actually, Ent was not out yet at the time.
      Forest might have been the right choice, but I went for island because I wanted to be able to cycle if facing a Blood Moon, since at that point my graveyard was still fairly small.

      @@flaviostanchi9520 that makes sense, I forgot that this tournamet was older than the lotr set. In that case the island was a lot better I think, as it allows for cycling as stated!

      I am sure you would have been fast and decisive playing your win-and-in.
      Congrats on your next Pro Tour win 😂

      @@flaviostanchi9520 @flaviostanchi9520 you clearly were slow playing on your opponent man. You can take time on your decisions but going against someone who mulled to 4, you were just consuming the clock. And sure I'll be watching the Pro Tour same as you buddy, give a big thanks to the deck carrying you on that day. Apparently you couldn't top 8 any other event with Living End after that. So sad..

      @@OdracPRthe next few turns we’re gonna decide the outcome of the game. It’s not control vs control. If that were the scenario, than I can see why you’re upset. It’s a tempo deck vs combo deck. Each move has to be precise on both sides. What if the combo player sideboarded fast while the other guy literally took half the time on this video figuring out if jace was good or not?

    • @lostinsmoke
      @lostinsmoke Před rokem +2

      What the hell are you even complaining about? The games went fast, there’s like 15 minutes of actual play in there.

      @@lostinsmoke he’s probably mad he spent all his bread on UR Murktide when living end was embarrassing one of the best tempo decks. Maybe he wanted to watch UR Murktide lose faster
