Technically Caroline wasn't kidnapped. She delcared Chucky and Tiffany were her actual parents 🤷♀️😂

Teddy dying got me flashbacks of Nadine. Getting invested in the characters so that we slowly start to love them only for Chucky to off them 😭
For me, it's more powerful if they develop the character and THEN kill them off, like with Nadine
@@codyryan9789 it’s just for me I felt that it was a very sad death like Nadine’s because we got to see the sweet friendship teddy had with Henry like we saw with Nadine and Lexi and that’s what made me feel in love with the teddy character and then broke my heart with his death 😢😭

Not only did they bring the actor that played Lexy's dad back, but Charlotte (the First Lady) is played by the same actor that played Sister Ruth in Season 2.
I love the presidential theme with the security guard being named Teddy ( Roosevelt) and the good guy doll being named Joseph (Biden possibly). Small details that may go over people's heads at first

Dont forget that they only filmed half the season before the actors strike and the 2nd half of the season wont be filmed until after the strike end.
Also, the actress who plays Henry's mom was in season 2 as the crazy nun who thought Chucky was Christ reborn and the actor playing the vice president and Lexi's dad also played the doctor who got his stomped in by ChuckNica in Cult Of Chucky
I know I’m still mad we’re gonna have to wait until next years for the rest of the episodes also I will be furious if they leave off episode 4 with a huge cliffhanger 😡

The freeze frame was a reference to the first Child's Play. At the end of Child's Play 1988, Andy walks out of the room with his mom and the detectives and turns to look at the burnt, dead, shot-up Chucky, and then they freeze frame it like they did here. Considering how many references are to the first movie in this episode, and the tone change as well, I'd say it's referencing the og Child's Play at the end.

A great episode to return. Unfortunate that we axed the nice character immediately but oh well I guess. Loving the mystery. Like Garrett(I think that's how you spell his name) so far. Will be interested when we flash back to show how we got to this point. Zachary getting buff in between seasons is so funny because it just makes me imagine Jake taking time from art and spending time with his friends to just go crazy at the gym. I actually like that this episode mostly just introduced us to the new cast before the others get mixed in with them. We are in for a ride
I don't know.... I have a feeling "Joseph"may have gotten into the presidents sons head like he did to Caroline. Chucky has been trying to get kids to kill to build his army. In the beginning of the episode, the kid told "Joseph" that we've got this and Joseph responded by saying "We sure do" then he sent Teddy into his room and didn't even bother to ask the doll what had happened? Joseph was the only "witness." Something doesn't seem right to me about that....
It also felt like it ended so quickly for me cause I was so excited and invested already.
That ending was kind of like that one scene in Scream 5. This one was very suspenseful which I liked. I'm excited for the rest of the season

I absolutely loved this episode, for an opener of the season this was sooo good. I definitely cried a little when teddy got got he reminded me of Nadine, where it’s such a sweet, kind hearted character and as soon as you fall in love with the character and want nothing but good things for them they get murdered
