Porsche's Platinum Edition Cayenne can be had with the V6, e-Hybrid, and S (V8) trims. We drove the V6 version and came away impressed. Just don't expect it to go like a Turbo. In this One-Mile Review we are experimenting with a new, longer format that focuses as much on equipment levels and relative cost in the market as it does on the drive and ratings. The new Base Cayenne in phenomenal
Great job PCA for super 1MR. It's really great to watch a review where music and silly jokes are not part of the almost day to day car journalist format. Well done on nice background information along with 1st generation comparison for design and scale. Looking forward to more reviews. 👍☘️

Great, honest review of an awesome car - if you know where to use it. This is not the Cayenne you want if it is your only Porsche. This is a great complimentary - aka daily - if you have a Carrera/718 for fun. And I think it fills that perfectly - like a Macan, if you don't need as much room. Keep going with these reviews - really enjoy them!

It's late for a comment but those four boxes would have easily fit in the cargo hold if the rear seats had been moved forward and inch or three which would still have allowed generous rear leg room. I can move a rear seat five inches forward and still have room to sit behind a 6-footer who has move his seat forward a little. In my opinion, the money spent on full leather would have been better spent on the Premium Plus package which would have included Lane Change Assist, 4-Zone Climate Control, LED-Matrix Design Headlights with PDLS+, Ventilated Seats (Front), Power Seats (14-way) with Comfort Memory for both front seats and Heated Seats front and rear. Even my Porsche salesman doesn't recommend Porsche's leather dashboards except for garage queens and I hope to not have a leather dash again in a daily driver based on past experience unless it's unavoidable.
Fun Factor: You said a back-road but clearly still meant on pavement. I reckon fun factor would be way higher the moment the wheels touch dirt like they were built to :D
Swap out those Satin Platinum wheels first!
"Satin Platinum" sounds like the name of a Bond Girl :) I also liked the early model/new model side by side in the parking lot. I LOVE Rennbow. I would like to make a suggestion with it. I think it would be awesome if you introduced a new search parameter: search by the number of paint cans! I find myself REALLY wanting to see the 4 and especially 5 paint can colors!

A very capable car which does its work very well indeed.Its the most usable Porsche in the whole range.If cars like this don t make it,there would no 911.
