Design and principle of operation of the gift packer
The case of the packer is made of transparent plastic and consists of upper and lower detachable parts. During storage and transportation of the packer, the upper part is turned over and lowered into the lower part. In the working position, the tightness of the housing is provided by a seal.
On the upper part of the body there is a neck and two petal valves. The neck of the ball is put on the neck, and the valves release air from the body during the work of the packer.
The neck is closed with a transparent lid, to which the hose is attached. At the other end of the hose there is a cone tip suitable for the spout of any ZIBI compressor.
The principle of operation is as follows.
The balloon is put on the neck and closed with a lid located on the hose. The other end of the hose is put on the compressor, and the balloon begins to inflate.
The balloon inflated inside the packer's body increases and displaces air from the packer's body. The air exits the housing through the lobe valves.
When the balloon is fully inflated, it fits snugly against the walls of the housing so that there is almost no air left between the walls of the balloon and the housing, i.e. a kind of "vacuum" is formed. Therefore, the packer is called vacuum. In fact: there is no vacuum there, but there is air with a pressure less than atmospheric.
The compressor is turned off and the lid is removed from the neck. However, the balloon still fits snugly against the walls of the case. The fact is that the air pressure inside the balloon is greater than the air pressure outside the balloon. The lobe valves do not allow air to enter the packer's body, so the balloon can remain in a stretched state for quite a long time.
Through the neck of the packer, small balloons, a soft toy, sweets (optional) are stuffed into the balloon. The balloon can contain anything that will pass through the neck with a diameter of 12.5 cm.
As a result, the balloon is tied and any petal valve is opened: air enters the space between the balloon and the body and the upper part of the body itself separates from the lower part. A bow is tied on the balloon, the balloon is placed on a stand.
