Hi Jeff, thanks for all your insightful posts. Appreciate all the testing and detailed feedback. My question is two fold: 1. With the slow glide speed of the North SF series, would it make a potential light wing solution? 2. For newer wingers, would the SF be too advanced or a comparable option to the MA series. (Note: speed is not an issue at this point in my winging journey... just the difficulty of getting on foil in VERY marginal conditions that plague my area). Many thanks 🤙

      Same question.
Currently on my learner 1850R & 85cm mast. Absolutely love the mellow response and unbelievably slow stall speed - really a benefit to building confidence.
It seems the MA series is the next logical step, but cant help but wonder if the SF would be manageable as an intermediate beginner, and have a longer shelf life with more potential for progression?

Any input on how well the sf foil pumps for dock foiling. 1080 vs the larger version?

Hi Jeff, I recently bought the mav2 awesome ride. 100kg, 2400 to start with foiling. I can get hold of a ha1450 2022, how does it compare to these new foils?

Thank you for the feed back and positive vibe. Yes Sardinia is a beautiful place, was there more than 25 years ago doing a demonstration visit kiteboarding for a company at the time called Quadrifoil. I was the only one kiting, would love to make it back someday. It was a flat water spot in a big cove can’t remember the name. But had a great time. Ride on and if we can ever help please let us know. Jeff

    Excellent review 👏.
You speek of slowing the foil while on a wave 3.55 mins in . How do you do this just point nose of board up I'm experimenting with this

Hey Chris. Yes you are correct of course to a point. Slowing your foil speed is done by slowly changing your angle of attack without cavitating the foil out of the water. Some foils will fly slower than others also bigger foils fly slow as well. It’s a balance and takes practice. The more time you fly and understand positioning on the wave the better you get at staying in the wave.

hello and thanks! for low wind (around 10kt) which wing in the sonar series would you say it's best for a medium weight rider?
