I listened to each version twice, to ensure I wasn’t just fooling myself into thinking so. The performance is on an entirely different level with the playback speed on 1.25(specifically the intro/first verse

This is such an awesome avenue for artists to come in and throw there angle at a piece of music. So creative and it must be such a release for the band doing something fresh and new
Totally agree, some of them becoming legendary too, like Denzel Curry’s cover of Bulls On Parade; he takes it to a whole new level, or Genesis Owusus’s cover of Anarchy In The UK, it’s just mind blowing. Now there’s this one to add to the list of greats. Some really amazing music has come from these sessions and promptly added to my Spotify library.

Her and alanis both very ordinary live singers but Amy is worse. I can't understand how anybody rates this woman's vocals they are bloody awful.
@@kamadowoah4584 ehh strong respectful disagree. Amy doesnt have crazy range or anything but her voice is soothing and controlled. she makes tasteful choices, little quivers and sensitivities in her voice. Create emotion i vibe with at least. same with Alanis I'd say.

I love my homegirl Amy Shark, and this is a really strong cover.
That said, the only “cover” that is in the same ballpark as the original is the Pat Stump/Daryl Hall “Live From Daryl’s House” version.
Btw Amy should absolutely go on Live From Daryl’s House and do a kickass cover of “Adore” or “Everybody Rise”. Feel like that would be legendary.
