I recently tried to buy this GPS tracker on Ebay. The seller substituted this version with a "newer" version. He stated that this model only works with 2G networks and since 2G networks are almost obsolete , it wouldn't work in my area. I didn't like the new version because the battery was integrated into the device and so was the SIM card. I had to purchase a wireless plan with their company, which I wasn't planning on that.

I just showed a rough way of installing. A proper way should be using 3M acrylic double sided tape to stick on any flat surface. Remember to clean the surface before sticking. Oil and dust prevents it from sticking properly. Another method is using a cable tie. Zip tie the tracker onto the wires under the dashboard. The audio quality depends on the ambient sound in the car. Like engine noise and car vibration, road noise, Aircon blower... If the ambient sound is too loud. It's quite hard to hear
Can you please tell me, every time i want to call and receive the Google Map link i have to type before "tracker123456"? And every time I want to call and hear the conversations around the car i have to type "monitor123456"? I have to do this all the time to switch from google map link to hearing coversations or i do this only once?

@@annapag8308 you can't record the sound on the SD card. What you can do is call In to listen and record on Ur phone. Download a app From playstore. Search for "phone call recorder" there are many apps, try the one that suits u. For the SD card it's meant to save information and commands on it when the GPS tracker lost connection with the GPS satellite or cell phone towers. When the reception is good it will retrieve the info from the SD card and sent it to u. Hope that answers your questions.

I read the instructions you gave in the video and can you imagine that the original booklet that was enclosed with the Tracker didn't say anything about the SMS "Monitor123456" and I learned that through your video!! All these SMS i send were right and the Tracker really worked precisely, however now I have the problem that with only 2 SMS (Tracker123456 and Monitor123456) and only 5 seconds of hearing the surrounding sound, then I received an SMS of "low battery 25%". I thought that it was ok and I could give another 2-3 SMS with that battery, but when i send again "Tracker123456" it didn't reply at all! So, the battery (fully charged for more than 24 hours) it only lasts for a couple of SMS? Why did the battery fell so quickly since I gave only 2 SMS commands to the Tacker and what can i do for that? I thought it could last for at least 48hours, that's why i bought it.
@@annapag8308 the battery is defective. It should last about 2-3 days on standby and about 4 hours to 1 day use depending on the usage. GPS location tracking takes up more power from the battery than voice monitoring function.
The tracker can't detect your SIM Card. 1) Sim Card not active 2) Sim Card with SIM LOCK (Put into a phone to check, if you need to put in a PIN code before the sim card can be used means the Card is set with a SIM LOCK, go to your phone settings to remove the SIM LOCK) 3) Indoor area, cant receive any network or signal from GPS setallite 4) If all this fail means the tracker is defective. Get a replacment or refund from your seller.
Yes. The model uses real gps antenna to track the location. Its as good as a phone. Can use it as a spy listening device too. If your set doesn't work as it suppose to you might have received a defective set. Get a refund or replacement from your seller before the return periond expires.
to set the monitor mode, send a sms to the sim number, "monitor123456" if the setting is successful, you will receive a sms replay "monitor ok" you can start using the monitor function by calling the sim card number, it will auto pick up the call after a few rings, you shoulb be able the hear sounds and conversation on the other end and you can download a call recorder from google play to record the conversation on ur phone as evidence.

You have call you phone service provider to cancel the old card and a get new SIM card with the same number and put into the gps then send "begin123456" to reset it.
1) Make sure the SIM card you put in is the correct position 2) Make sure there is no SIM card password lock on the card 3) check to see if the card connection is dirty 4) card must have a data plan and can receive and send SMS.

yes you need to switch the sms command. if not will be in the last sms set function.

I'm just getting a solid light...no blinking...what could be the cause?

Depends.... On Standby mode it can last about 3-5 days, if your using it all the time, about 3-8 hours. Using GPS function takes up allot of battery.

to set the monitor mode, send a sms to the sim number, "monitor123456"
if the setting is successful, you will receive a sms replay "monitor ok"
