I restored an FJ40 with my dad (finished a few years back), and can 100% relate to how these guys interact and talk about the car.
Also: super cool car. There's one in New Mexico, the guy who used to work on my folks e30 has it squirreled away.

What a truly magnificent car and what a wicked color. I always get really excited when I see the 70's and 80's European race cars,they are such beastly looking cars and are so beautiful. This brought back a lot of wonderful memories from the 70's.

What a unexpected cool car to Vew, my faverite Ford is the mk1 2.6l RS Capri, but the BMW (E9) 3.0 CSL ''Batmobile'' is jut on a nother level... 🎱The Austrian ''Gösser Beer'' Livery is so cool two, the 3.0 CSL is my favorite Car of all times especially in track version... Good work Larry. 💯

there’s a gentleman who races/owns a pair of these in the SVRA/Vintage TransAm series! I had the pleasure of photoing them at Watkins Glen last summer! Definitely some of my favorite cars ever! Such a rad looking ride!

My dad got me into BMWS when I was 18, half my age now. I'm driving my eighth e24 6 series now as a daily and have racked up over 600k miles combined on those cars. I have a huge appreciation for the e9, 24, 31. I've seen this exact car at Vintage BMW. Cool story.

Grown up in the 70´s it was my Dreamcar. Even in the 70/80s it was rare to see them on the German Autobahn
Also growing up in the 70'th but it was never my cup of tea.
This is accounted for by a too vintage looking style .
Always like the E21 and E30...never the E36.
But, Larry Chan is always woth to watching.

I promise, if some one was to buy it for what, the owner thinks it's worth, somebody would DOUBLE, and sell it to some one who would sell it for more than what he paid for it.
