Wow the Black Works car with Motorsport stripes is owned by ADAM CAROLLA now, he campaigns about 4 or 5 different vintage race cars, most being former PAUL NEWMAN works cars.
It ran a normal M30 3.5l race engine, the 3.5l turbo engine was only used in 2 races, because there was no 6 speed gearbox which could handle the enormous torque of the engine. The 5 speed could withstand the power, but the gearing wasn't long enough, which lead to engine overreving. There was a so called "Turbo-Factor" in the reglement, which multiplied the engine size to balance the classes.
