This is has been heartbreaking to watch. I recently bought a single hidden fates tin from Walmart which at the time seemed a lil odd. Take it home for my son to open up and realize it was resealed as well. Some of the packs didn’t even have a reverse holo and no good rares at all smh
If you think about it, you now have a shadowless first edition boaster box:resealed edition. Nobody else has that, hopefully

If the person had repackaged this box, but had kept the top 4 (2 on each side) packs as first edition light packs, would you have been able to determine it was fraud? Makes me wonder if others are out there if someone thought more into not getting caught.

It’s weird that he left holo’s and shadowless cards. I wouldn’t scam someone like this but if I did I’d take all the rares/holos and all the shadowless cards. I’d put my worst unlimited cards back in the packs and seal them, then weigh it to see the difference(12 holo weight-12 regular weight), and I’d weigh a piece of duct tape equal to that difference and stick it inside the bottom of the box before sealing it.

Hey just looking for some advice on what to do with a few of my sealed packs, ones a base set (venosuar artwork) the other is a 1st edition base set (Spanish) blastoise, just wondering what you’d value these at, and what you’d do with these(both unweighed I’m too scared to, if it’s light I’ll be disappointed and open them, and if it’s heavy I’ll open it as a fan )
base set unweighed runs around 95-120 USD depending on source (got mine from trollandtoad for 95). Not sure about the spanish pack; T&T has unlimited for 75, so maybe around 150-200?
If I was you, I would've opened the last pack before the video, and put in a 1st edition charizard shadowless, and when the scammer sees this video, he'd be gutted 😂
