I was thinking about getting one of those with the sound hole next to the neck, and putting a small resonator and stringing it with steel strings. It would be perfect cause there's a truss rod, the sound hole it up high, and I think it looks good with the dark wood against a shinny resonator plate. Btw it takes those pill batteries and you install the batteries at the bottom by removing the battery tray next to the output jack.
