this is a list i've been waiting for it's true the eo trike does do more damage with the boof but with the trex's weight class it evens out again even with the spino his chargeable attack is very strong but because he doesn't run off the trex he can only use it once in a fight, a spino couldn't do it more often because then he would definitely lose (I would have been interested how much damage the trex would do with the boof damage as you showed with eo trice)
So if anyone wants to know how to calculate combat weight dmg vs another dino this is how:
Let's say you playing on a Bars who has a combat weight of 7000 and out of no where an EO Trike with a combat weight of 6500 decides to try kill you(seems realistic enough). Well as a Bars your strongest attack is going to be to use the "tail slam" which does 75dmg whereas the Trike will be using his headbutt which does 70dmg base and 91dmg with sharpen horned.
Bars tail slam dmg against an EO Trike:
1. Bars weight/trike weight x base dmg(tail slam)
2. (7000/6500)75= 80.76 dmg
EO Trikes dmg against the Bars:
1. (Sharpen horns) Trikes weight/Bars weight x dmg
2. (6500/7000)91= 84.5 dmg against the Bars
3. Base Headbutt: (6500/7000)70= 65 dmg against the Bars
Answer:
EO Trike has 1000 hp; Dead in 13 hits from tail slam
Bars has 1500 hp. Dead in 18 hits with sharpen horns and 23 hits with base headbutt
So in conclusion, size matters. Of course this won't always be the determining factor of winning a fight considering there are many other factors such as bleed, stam, crit dmg to head, etc, but it most certainly gives you an advantage if your bigger.

The styracosaurus is my favorite base dinosaur in PoT, so I'm glad to see him at #7. I think that's a fair place for him. I play him with hit and run tactics whenever possible. It seems to work very well for me. Having one or two eotriceratops and a few albertaceratops in a pack with me, it feels like we're unstoppable. At the very least, we're a force to be reckoned with. I tend to lead the charge and then dip out just as quick.

It’s a good start but don’t treat this like a Bible. The duck should not be slept on for example. It destroys spinos and is a real threat to rexes. In water it will die to a sarco but on land it destroys them. Your combat weight plays a much bigger role in total damage then this video will lead you to believe

Cool list, but I don’t think you valued combat weight high enough, in the ranking, it makes a huge difference when fighting with damage taken and damage dealt.

I'm sure this list might change with the new updates like the voice abilities I mainly just started playing path of titans and I run the Rex but I mainly always get killed by the eo trike that's adult. When I see trikes I run the opposite direction lol.
When your facing an Eo trike use deep rumble before fighting it because you can then face tank the eo unless he sharpens his horns

The thing is, the ano does 130 damage with its tail slam and u are not gonna switch moves on any ding but ur just gonna Spam the strongest move combined with for example a charge or bome snap so the ano should be first cuz it prolly also has the highest dps

I’m surprised Rex wasn’t number one or two, always feel like they’re OP. But then again I’m just bad at combat. I always get my butt whooped as Spino with Rexes, and as Sarco with Ducks 😂 Any tips on how to be better at combat would make an interesting video, if you ever run out of ideas 😄

When your a spino killing a Rex is to easy just tail ride them they can’t do anything about it h
Fight rex slow,make it a stamina battle and if you have sarc or a dino that bleeds,bleed and stam battle,don't face tank rex unless you're a rex yourself and get the first hits in, depending on hide

Good content, but I’ve got a couple of issues with some of your methodology that I think affect the rankings.
1) consistency with damage buffs. I believe that either the Laten or Deinonychus (or both? I can’t remember off the top of my head…) have a call that increases their damage output, but that wasn’t taken into account whereas you applied buffs to larger Dinos further up the list. This at the very least would put them above the Struthi and possibly the thala.
2) not all attacks have the same cool-down or share cool-down with other attacks. For example, to get the most damage out of a Spino, you have to use the charge bite which takes time to charge and has a pretty long cool-down, so that limits the amount of damage you can dish out with it over time. I think a better measure of damage than the sum total of the moves would be a calculation of the damage per second a creature can dish out. This would control for multiple factors including cool-down and speed of attack, as well as attack synergy (attacks that don’t share a cool-down that can be used back to back like a claw and bite attack).
3) I think there should be some consideration of the hurt-box of each move (the area the attack gives damage to) since front and rear facing attacks aren’t going to be dishing out damage at the same time. Especially with a lot of larger creatures, they can’t bring their moves to bear on a target due to mobility issues, and this affects their damage output considerably. Lumping front and rear facing attacks together for a bulk analysis doesn’t really provide an accurate representation of how much damage a creature can do.
All this being said, I do appreciate your work in cataloging and sharing this information and I watch a lot of your videos to get a decent take on the various creatures abilities, so thank you for that! This isn’t an easy task and you’ve done a good job with it. I just think there’s more to delve deeper into on this subject than just raw numbers of a single stat.
I've been looking everywhere and can't find an answer, what is the buff of Bark and Call of the Night Terrors for the raptors? The tool tip for bark just says it buffs raptor types damage. No number and the call of the night terrors does what 15% but what is the % for a bark? I've seen on reddit someone say 1% perk stack, but saw 1.05x per stack on a spread sheet? Anyone actually know? Because some friends and I want to run some raptor packs with 5-8 of us, some running bark and others CoNT.
I know I keep saying this, but why? Why is Eotrike need to be so fast when it's extremely tanky and deals the most damage?

Apex's should do the most damage in the game honestly though I do feel that most of the medium carnivores other than the centro need love because they're just lacking in damage or in abilities or utility or a combination. Like any of the dromeosaurs, you should have a leap attack like in the Isle. Also, the pachy shouldn't do more damage than a carnivore of its own size. T.rex should have the strongest bite in the game aside from maybe the sacro since historically T.rex had the strongest bite force of any land animal ever.
It simply depends on the skill of the player and how they use it honestly.

Anyone else feel like these apex predators need buffs. If you think about it I really don’t see the T. rex loosing to one trike. Could just be me but I feel that my boi’s Ben done dirty. Same with gigas acros and carchars.
Struthi's damage is trash but I love he's bleed. I've killed some concs, the modded utahraptor and lots of fool baby allosaurus.

The Spino seems like it has more damage, yet if you put equally skilled players on Spino vs Rex, Spino vs Trike etc they will lose.

I’m planning on growing a iguanodon when they buff his stamina 5:45
I've already grown an Iguanodon. If you like a dinosaur enough you'll make it even if it's bad (Iggy isn't bad btw I have beaten apexs on my Iggy it just needs a stamina buff if you suck with Iggy just say that) and needs a buff. Only fake fans wait until a buff. Found the fake Iguanodon fan. True fans will play as their favorite dinosaurs no matter how "bad" it is. In this case Iguanodon isn't bad it's just that most people lack the skill to use it. If you truly like this dinosaur you'll play with it and not wait for a buff. It's like saying I'll root for a different team until my team gets better. No. You root for your favorite team even when they are doing bad. Same concept here. Exposing guys like you is honestly hilarious. If or when the Iguanodon gets a buff just know you're not a true fan. You're a bandwagon that abandoned it when it was "bad" but then came back when and if it becomes "good". Although Iggy is already good and most of you just lack the skill to use it.

I think this video could have been a lot better with actually testing the damage yourself. In the video, combat weight is mentioned, but feels like an afterthought sometimes and makes it feel inconsistent

I don’t get it, so if a dino does 50 damage does it take away from the other Dino’s CW or health to kill it cause I’m sure the deino doesn’t kill a conc in 9 hits when the conf has like 450 health
The higher the CW the more damage he does to Dino’s with smaller CW.
So if a Trex (7000 CW) bites a Campto (1200 CW) even though the Campto has 500 Health, and Rex’s bite does 80 dmg, it would do significantly more damage because he’s much lighter. Not sure if I explained that good at all but yea lmaoo

I don't understand the placement of Spinosaurus and Trex, no matter what the situation, in my experience the Trex always wins at least in 1vs1 against Spino and others, but that's just my opinion
Damage is one thing, the defense and bleed reduction is another. You can have the best DMG and if your HP is low, you will still die fast.

You've never played on official servers. The Duck can kill anything in two hits.
I like the sucho over the allo, I've fought a couple allos, face tanked them and still won. Idk maybe i just got some people who couldn't play very well but I'd say i win about 8.5/10 with the sucho. I attacked a full grown spino and he had to have his pycno buddy come help him with me because he couldn't take me alone (they were baby killers btw i wasn't just attacking these guys just because)

The video is about the stats of the two (or how much slots the dino has) strongest attacks. Cooldown, venom, speed, bleeding, defense, usability, player skill is not mentioned, just pure stats calculated from combat weight and the attack, plus buff if the dino has one. The way the game shows the attack strength is not the best by my opinion, so we need videos like this to know the exact numbers.

dude ... the cera does not " 170 damage " you cannot combine all skills in 1 shot also theres a Hitbox policy in this game ... if you bite someones tail he get less damage. There head, body and tail.

also a Cera cannot deal this type of damage to a big Apex for example Rex or Bars not even to a Sucho whats a Semi Apex ... i know your list but this game has Dino Tiers ( Group slots ) and a higher Tier does more damage to a lower Tier. Rex vs Raptor ... Rex 2 shots a Raptor in any Body part basicly and a Raptor has 500 health so this will not match at all
That’s why I factored combat weight into it aswell. It’s hard to do a accurate list like this when I have to factor combat weight also
@@SIMPLYAMAZINGYT ok how would you explain then that a 5000 Combat Weight Stego would smash a Rex 7000 Combat Weight and 1000 Health with around 7 tailslams to his head ? (no bleed damage needed) The Combat weight effects damage but for example a 5000 Combat weight Dino would not deal double the damage against a 2500 Combat weight Dino. Damage is never accurate in this game ... a slight turn can make u hit a different hitbox and cause lower / higher damage and with these Server Tickrates you can be happy even hitting something
@@sircygnusx it’s nearly impossible to include the hit box’s in this list. I’m just going off of the based damage numbers. I’m not factoring hit boxes or the players skill/experience. Because even a good Cerato can kill a trash rex regardless of damage. That’s why I’m just going off the numbers in this video. So I understand if you don’t agree with the ranking lol
