I do my oil changed every 3k or 6 months. And i have a 2016 xse v6 with 200k and still runs like a clock. The most reliable car i ever owned. And thinking of getting a 2024 xse v6 for my wife before toyota stops selling them and replaces it with the 4banger hybrid.
Make sure you change that oil every 3,000 mi on that Toyota longtime Chrysler owner here and purchased a Toyota cuz I was in a pinch I couldn't find every time I did find a Chrysler vehicle they were sold an older one and let me tell you what Toyota's are sludge machines! So make sure you change your oil a lot!
You can get 5,000 miles on non synthetic oil. If it burns a little oil, just top it off until the oil change is done later. Why waste labor and oil cost, if you change your own oil. Oil isn't cheap anymore. Labor is time consuming.
Very informative and helpful!
Great video very informative …thank you!

That’s great practice! 3k oil changes are even better. I’ll never know why ppl insist on 10k mile oil changes. It’s cheap assurance
I got a 2020 Toyota Camry hybrid.... 4.5 doesn't work..I got to put 4.8... measure perfect on the dipstick..
Will doing my own oil changes void my lifetime powertrain warranty?
It should not. As long as you know what you’re doing and use a factory filter you will be okay.

5000 miles you should be fine 3000 is excessive imo its light oil 0w16
@@sayvonsmith3682agreed, I’ve owned a few Toyotas - 5k is a good interval.

with full synthetic oil 5k miles is easy...3k miles is waste of money
It all depends on how and how much you drive. 3k is what I do
