  • Here's the review of the new Proxima on the fly clasp. They have started adding these two some of their newer watches, as well as upgrading some of their older ones too. But don't worry, you can also buy them seperately as well.

    I somehow managed to mess up the thickness measurements completely 🤦‍♂️
    The actual measurements are:
    - 6.3mm for the old
    - 7.3mm for the new
    Sorry about that guys ☺️

    Sorry about the audio not being up to the usual standard of the latest videos... I just did this as a quick video on my phone, using the built in mic.

    Nice clasp. I wish there was one like this with an 18mm buckle width.

    Very nice. I have to wonder if this is the same one as the San Martin or just similar. And you’re right, Proxima is offering a lot of their watches with this clasp now. Makes Proxima’s even that much better values. Thanks for showing this to us.

      I think they're the same ones as the San Martin, as far as I can tell.

      @@HonestWatchReviewsHWR So that’s interesting. I thought maybe San Martin made these clasps. Maybe they are getting them from someone else. Or who knows? All these AliExpress Brands maybe turn out to be one giant company…🤔

    are you sure about that thickness, that really doesn't sound right. My guess is you sat it on a table and measured how tall it is (therefor including the arch), not the actual thickness. I don't even have a watch that thick

    • @kyledriscollmusic
      @kyledriscollmusic Před 4 měsíci

      it's not even as thick as your index finger and mine is about 13mm thick

    Why not put the push button on the outside of the clasp? Then it'll really be "on the fly". This one's isn't on the fly. Just tool less.
