That's what always fascinates me about Britain, that after every election the outgoing prime minister quietly hands over power to the new prime minister, wishes him, goes to the king, who then accepts the winner of the election and he goes to 10 Downing street and most importantly doesn't try any experiments there and they still have my Conservatives and Labour.... That's what I like about Britain... In Britain - although you certainly have your problems too - it's still okay in this respect ... Greetings from the Czech Republic...

Maybe not important in the big scope of things but I always look to see if they thank or speak to the people who open their car doors for them..gives me a sense of how respectful they are to ‘us commoners’ and true to form, they were blanked!
In this setting it's normal not to thank everybody. Saying that I have to say that those ladies and the driver are real professionals. I just find a bit odd that they didn't shake hands with the equerry when living, since he is in a different position and closely working with the King.

There were a few photos, but in general the regular meeting between the Prime Minister and the Monarch is a private affair.
We never get to see what our King and what he says to the Prime Minister. That's done in private. The King will offer alcoholic drinks and ask them to sit and be comfortable for an audience. But that's about all we know 😊 its all very dignified. Its not done to sat slanderous words about your opponents. Just congratulations.
