  • It requires less work than a Manualblinda... HA HA Haaaaa...
    The Italeri Autoblinda AB40 Ferroviaria in 1:35 scale!
    Here's the what's in the box video showing all the sprues etc: • What's in the box? Ita...
    Not a bad kit overall... A little fiddly and maybe not ideal for a beginner... but it was still an enjoyable build.

    Two shovels and two horns. This kit is perfect! Heavy metal! 🤘
    There are still two holes in the turret... 🤔

    I adore the AB40, and I would definitely get one. Not the Ferroviaria version however. But it's quite annoying to see that there are bits that have no guiding whatsoever, and have no slots for these. Amazing work, and amazing video!

    The width indicators are officially called "those fucking things that always break off because they're too thin and brittle".

    The plates that join rails together are called “fishplates” (at least they are in British English).

      That's what they are in American too. Who knows what those crazy Aussies call them though. ;^)

      I've heard them called that too. It just wouldn't come to me when I was making the video.

    I have the Autoblinda 41 one. Basically same vehicle, different turret. However i managed to somehow lose the right side doors. making this, kind of impossible to finish. Will have to see if italeri offers spare parts but i doubt it. Anyway these Ferroviarias were used in my country during Italian occupation of Yugoslavia. They were used to protect railways from the partisans which were constantly sabotaging german transports towards Greece in order to supply troops in Africa.

      Maybe you could try making some doors with sheet styrene. If they don't look right you could add damage and have that be the reason they don't look quite right.

    Have you ever considered being a stand-up comedian? I am sure you would be an nation wide celebrity now, driving exotic cars.

    The steering rod things are called tie rods, and how do you know that those suspension parts are breakable?

    I've made the 1/72 scale of this kit... in 36 years of model making it's the worst kit I've ever done.

    What are sandboxes?

    • @HerbertErpaderp
      @HerbertErpaderp  Před 4 lety +2

      Boxes that hold sand. which is sent down the hoses to create grip on the rails when its wet. Stops wheel slip.

      @raseli4066 Před 4 lety +1

      It is also a thing that you can find on playgrounds. Usually a wooden box with sand in it so kids could play in it

      Thanks for posting. I am about to build the standard AB40 and wanted some guidance around fitting of parts. Your video was very helpful 👍
