Have your assistant hold a Bernzomatic torch about 1' away and warm the area as your soldering. Keep the soldering area warm it'll go a lot faster. It'll turn patina green in 18 years..
Hey man just letting you know I believ you are putting the straps on wrong it’s a flower so the “decorative portion is backwards the flowers needs to be on the wall. No hate tho man I do it like that as well sometimes

I use Thinner soldier sticks seem to work better when its colder out and iron with acetylene tanks .

Water doesn't neutralize the acid by itself. You have to add baking soda to the water.

is there a major price increase using copper vs. painted aluminum?
I would say about 5 times more for copper depends on the hangers and type of gutter k or half round and the size and if it gets solder
can you just use gutter seal? dumb question but why/why not
you can but its a bit of a dice roll if its actually going to be a good seal. Solder basically lasts forever as long as you do it right
