Glad it's going so well for you. Please stay vigilant monitoring your health. I had throat cancer with chemo and proton radiation therapy. I was cancer free for 18 months and it came back (it was at the base of my tongue and was early stage three). I had to have my tongue removed and am now three years out from that. It's pretty tough speaking without a tongue but I'm getting along. I'm one of those you mentioned using a feeding tube. Again, stay vigilant.

I’m currently getting ready next week to see my Dr. next week. I’ve got Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Basically (Epiglottis cancer) I’ve had my PET scan and I’ll have to do 33 days of radiation. I caught mine. My throat and ear were hurting and I too just got over Covid. I don’t really have a cough. It took 3 different doctors and finally my GI doctor believed me. I possibly have to take a chemo pill? I wish you well on your journey. ❤

about three years ago I started to talk just like you on and off. It took almost a year to find out was cancer. Drs treated me for allergies,candida fungus,reflux,infection and nothing changed. I asked to see a ENT specialist. first couple times she couldn’t see anything. then she sees a little abscess. ask for a biopsy come back it was cancer de recommended surgery. Have my surgery 11/22 then my voice got better not a100% on april of this year my voice started again. dr couldn’t see anything until last week. got a biopsy done. cancer again now is on the other side of my vocal cord. tomorrow going to get a CT scan then a surgery dr don recommend the radiation.

My husband and myself got COVID while on vacation. We had it for approx. 3 weeks. My husband's voice is OK but not mine. I talk like Kermit the Frog at times. I am going to have an endoscopy soon because I have Barretts too. I have a raspy voice but nothing like the way you sound. I get a sore throat when I talk too loud. I also have coughing fits at times but it is not all the time. So I have been worried about what I have. Hopefully, it is not too serious. I hope you feel better soon and make a full recovery. I ran into CertainTeed shingles having dimensional issues and defects. Where the rain tab and reveals we’re not the same width across. Thus making it hard to roof straight lines.
