Discussion Question: If you could go Todash to any point in the last 4 novels, where would you go and why?

When i finished Wolves, even though i figured out the 7S and M7 reference early on in the story, i was just so overwhelmed by how good it was. It's just perfect.
When we were little we had tapes from the library of Gunslinger and DOT3 read by King.
14:00 Back in my day King read the 1st two books... we got them from the town library on cassette tapes. Cuthbert
It's only 1, but how the heck can ANYONE dislike these videos. Also gotta mention how in my opinion I hear people say Wizard and Glass is either people's favorite or least favorite book in the series. I never see anyone mention Wolves, Song of Susannah or The Dark Tower as a favorite. Drawing of the Three gets mention and MAYBE I've seen The Waste Lands mentioned once or twice. But no one ever raves about Wolves of the Calla or The Gunslinger. Thus far The Gunslinger has been my absolute favorite. I LOVE the start of stories or movies. Lord of the Rings Fellowship is my hands-down favorite. The Gunslinger (so far) is my absolute favorite. It's the start if a epic. I love it. As the stories or movies go along it makes me sad that the story or movie is almost over. Fellowship and Gunslinger I just love. The entire story is still a head. Return of the King and The Dark Tower are the end. No more afterwards. That makes me sad.
One of my favorite parts of this entire section was when King brings attention to the calendar in Tower's office. It was stated multiple times that it is late June/early July. But he makes pains to say the calendar is still on May, and I thought that was such a cool and discreet way to tell the reader about Tower. I loved it so much and thank you both for having such an awesome podcast that makes me explore all of the details that I otherwise would have missed.
"Wolves" is my second favorite of the series; after the first book, The Gunslinger.
I enjoyed re reading all the connecting books after I'd taken multiple journeys to the Tower...should do episodes with the most closely and obviously connected books. For example I'm reading Insomnia for the first time since reading the complete Tower journey and enjoying it immensely on a whole nother level.
The song lyrics at the beginning are referring to the sets of twins in the story
Been looking forward to listening to this at work today
What kinda work do you do? Must be really nice to do this
*Spoilers*
I'm probably so out of touch with this, but Jake got run over by a Cadillac if I'm not mistaken.. and Balazar is in a Lincoln Continental? I might be completely missing something but is it not a different car? I also didn't read the argument apparently and am just learning of Balazar running over Jake lol
Thank you for these podcasts. :) it’s fun to listen along as I read through the books
Are you guys just going to go through the main seven books, or come back at the end for 'The Little Sisters of Eluria' and 'The Wind Through the Keyhole'?
Lot 298...those numbers add up to 19
maybe king heard the song live at a party or live concert version.
Long days and pleasant nights
Manni weren't in gunslinger originally, SK edited book one after finishing book 7.
Honestly, I love the longer episodes. I tend to listen while I'm doing manual labour at work so it's really kind of relaxing. I totally understand why people wouldn't but then again, don't you wish your favourite movies or tv shows were longer?
George Guidall is great but I just miss the voice of Eddie Dean.
I'm scared l, I want to stay in the beginning forever... Here goes, THANK YOU FOR THE BEST PODCAST!
You are the best! We would be happy if the show was 5 hours a week. Maybe you should have a 24hr midworld news cycle station.
Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah Blaine is a pain blah blah blah blah blah blah that is the truth blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
9:30 yep, Wolfs of Calla is AWESOME!

don’t know what y’all are talking about at the beginning... I actually think Wolves of Calla is my favorite of the series... and possibly The Dark Tower is my second favorite... although my choice of second favorite might change between The Dark Tower and Waste Lands...
but either way... I know people, and have heard from many many people online they actually think that Wolves of Calla is their favorite as well... I don’t know... I think y’all aren’t really getting a good enough sample size for that question if you really think that Dark Tower fans as a whole don’t really like the last 3 books as much as the first 4...
8:45 DT7 is incredible!
I love this so much
RIP Frank Muller. Best that's ever done it.
Should have read Salems Lot 1st...
