Since they didn't make many Lexus ISFs, there aren't a ton of options out there for aftermarket parts. And because of this, most of the parts are really expensive. I found a FULL exhaust however that is less than $1,000 all in. And that's the XForce exhaust. On this episode, I show you how to install it and give my review of the exhaust.

I fitted an X Force to my 2008 isf. Dyno ran before and after. Standard front manifolds and picked up 16hp through the mid range and also an associated torque rise. The second run was a very hot day so 20 hp increase would be accurate. Rolling road dyno. Sound is good balance not to loud in the car.
    Highly recommend.

Great content, love your channel. I was slightly dismayed that you have perpetuated the myth that the factory exhaust tips are "fake". This is a very common mistake but these tips are actually specifically designed to collect air and mix with the exhaust gas. The tips are aligned with the output ports of the muffler and mounted in a heat dissipating frame. The back side is contoured for collecting air and mixing with the exhaust for cooling to avoid melting the bumper under extended high rpm driving. Keep the great content coming, you're a natural at this. I've subscribed.

I have the x force exhaust in my 2011 is350 and it sounds so awesome. I think it feels noticeably faster with it probably because the stock exhaust system has 3 mufflers on it which might be holding back some of the horsepower and sounds from the amazing engine in it

My one thing of advice would be to remove the o2 sensors FIRST and not have half the front end mid pipe "hanging" from the o2 sensor wires.... I cringed when I saw that. Plus it's way easier to apply force when the mid pipe is still attached and not having to worry about the pipe moving like it was in your video when you were applying force to the o2 sensors... I just did an exhaust on my RCF and also a buddies RCF over the weekend.

A lot of ISFs are changing hands on market within past few months. I recently acquired a USB 11' with xforce already on it few weeks ago.
Drone is mild and tolerable. One thing that'll certainly reduce drone is having sound completely exit out the back via fully piping the rest of the exhaust to the faux tips so that the exhaust/sound fully exits where the tips are few mm past the bumper. This was tested first hand on my s2000 where the single exit was slightly behind the bumper and I had it pushed out a few inches that resulted in a noticeable drone reduction.
Most ISF exhaust is ending right behind the bumper which will have sound waves travel back through the car. Not saying you mind the drone but for anyone interested in reading this maybe would help. Helmholtz and quarterwave cans are different thing for another day.
Another thing I wanted to do was delete the muffler on one side and hear what that sounds like. Half as loud as double muffler delete of course maybe less overbearing. If you somehow decide to do this let me hear it haha. Deleting the muffler and having a delete that pipes the same distance/out the back will be much different.
Team Xforce is literally going to be a ton of ISFs lol...

It's true but they don't really give you problems especially on am exhaust like this. As long as your not just straight catless being obnoxious asf they shouldn't bother you

Didn't they change that law after a couple months? Before you'd get a state ref as well

Sounds the same not even worth the money. Go big or go home. Anyone who thinks this sounds good hasn’t heard a fully straight piped ISF

Remove the mufflers on this and I bet it’s loud

Don Yan yeah it would be I wish he would have shown the straight pipe sounds when he removed the stock exhaust

@@dongyan8717 I can attest to this, it sounds way better with mufflers off on this exhaust. Nice and crispy

Come on man. You're making the ISF crowd look bad. A true car guy mods a car because it looks, sounds, performs better. Not because it is the cheapest (first your aero and now the exhaust). Do some research like true car guys. Talk to other owners, see or hear their setups and then make a decision to your taste.
