I mean, on one hand, magic is definitely a plausible explanation given that it actually exists in their world. On the other, Batman regularly fights Scarecrow who uses chemicals to induce fearful hallucinations in his victims causing mass hysteria across a large number of persons at a time. It could be one or the other or possibly both is all I’m saying.

@Pr0fessorB1ble_ except those "goofy goobers" were correct. And not only that but Batman's statement is irrelevant as they didn't flat out say it was magic in first place. It was just suggested due to large numbers and nature of the crime. And again, they were correct anyway

My first thought was scarecrow which would be terrifying if he started working at a global level (kinda like his idea in Arkham knight where the fear gas distributed by the cloudburst would cover the entire east coast if not stopped, at just an even bigger level)
True, he does good, but his "crazy." His trauma makes his perspective think Cripple a human and kill aliens acceptable But kill a human be the worst sin, that would take his humanity away. As many people irl. He is flawed. He is bat - *man*
@@cristobalbarra583 it’s not that he’s denying the magic but realizing that it’s most likely mass hysteria being caused by scarecrow which isn’t true but would seem most likely from his point of view
You mean like Fear toxin of Scarecrow. Joker regulary turns "law abiding citizens" into criminals... the beef is. They think magic is responsible. He says there is other s**t that can manage the same. And recommends consulting an expert first, before jumping to conclusions.
He Roasted him self not only was he wrong he also told Superman who is always with The People to stop flying above them when he is the one that jumps above them. Superman cares about The People and that is why he knew something was up Batboy didn't care.
Being among people and actually looking at them are two completely different things. Superman at this point is not ready to face just how evil people can be. This character flaw is what causes the whole Injustice story. He is finally forced to look this evil in the eye and it changes him forever.
@@Umbra2079 The injustice story does in no way show Superman’s flaws. Their are a lot of what if evil Superman stories out there. The fundamental problem with them is, they have to change his behavior for the story to exist. Clark Joseph Kent is the son of a farmer from Kansas, he knows every day people very well. Batman is more familiar with the criminally insane but that is a small percentage of the population. Superman has looked Darkseid in the eyes he knows evil on the grand scale. He also can hear every cry for help from everyday people being brutality victimized.
Why do y'all people say Bman doesn't care? If he didn't care he wouldn't be fighting people in the streets and protecting lives yet alone be a hero for years. He may have been wrong saying it wasn't magic but he actually wasn't wrong in his statement. He is much more knowledgeable than you think. It's not like he's saying magic is never the cause he's just saying not to make assumptions without proof. I mean he does have villains who fights similarly with magic but doesn't so that's why he said what he said. And the fact that assuming something is not always the best thing to do. He's actually much more kind and understanding than some people put him out to be. It would be nice for people to look deeper into his character cause a lot of you people are misunderstanding where he's coming from.
@@daisiathepotatoangel1273 He fights them to get his rage out so as to not to be like them that is his gratest fear to become like them The Villains he faces & given what has happen to him and what he dose he is always worried about that. After Babra was hurt insted of crippling The Joker he laughs with him. With Jason instead of knocking him out or just killing The Joker he wreaks Red Hood. He never upgrades Arkhams training as Batman training The Guards or Security with Wayne Tech when he can very easily do that and make it look like a helpful Wayne enterprise venture. He know they'll get out and that's what he wants so he can lash out on them so he will not become like them HELL he even says to Red Hood if he killed one he might not stop he knows he's unhinged but has to do something to keep The Bat Demon at bay. He cares about him self not being a Demon saving others is a trade off from that. FYI this is all in Universe Theroy from what i know about the way Batman is nearly constantly written like.
people who complain about bat being wrong clearly don’t understand the principle of assumption, batman isn’t saying it isn’t magic, he’s saying have we ruled out the more scientifically possible rather than mystic voodoo and pointing out that the others don’t spend enough time engaging in normal city crimes than they should
In a world where they know magic is real and is even relatively common, it actually is a more logical explanation than that several unrelated people randomly went nutty in the exact same way at the same time
True. Then again, looking at the scale of every fighr they've been getting into, I can't really blame them for automatically assuming that, even if it IS a correct assumption at the end of the day. They got too occupied with the big things happening all around that they forgot to look at the little guys. It's an oversight that tends to happen a lot of the times.
The fact that it was on a global scale with the same occurrences and claims. It's too much of a coincidence to just be criminally insane. His assumption is wrong but then again... Batman actually likes to be disagreeable for the sake of disagreeing. It's actually his way of maintaining an emotional distance.
@@TheNoogie except he know joker and scarecrow would pull this bs for shits and giggles and knows that they did the same thing on a smaller scale in Gotham and knows it would be easy to do it on a global scale using infected food or something
I don't think he was intentionally being rude just direct. If you think about he was just giving good advice. You can't just immediately assume something is magic without proof. Even though they ended up right I believe Batman wasn't completely wrong with his statement. It's understandable considering he is the kinda guy who wouldn't make assumptions like that.
@daisiathepotatoangel1273 Each member of the team has different types of enemies in different sectors. GL has more experience with intergalactic stuff, Batman has more experience with street criminals & wonderwoman has more experience with mystical beings, thus making her relevant to her experience and jump on the conclusion based on her experience. You can't just deny other's experiences if they just don't lined up with yours. That's called attitude problem.
@@faizanraza255 That may be true but again it is understandable for him to think that. Heck I would too. I know WW and the others has had more experiences in that kind of stuff but you have to admit Batman does have a point. I don't think he was completely denying it either it just seemed like he didn't like the fact they just immediately jumped to that conclusion. I'm not disagreeing with the other characters cause it is true they had experience with other beings/people who use magic and stuff but I'm also trying to see it in Batman's pov. And so I do believe he does have a point. And I wouldn't say he hasn't fought against beings who have magical abilities cause there are moments all in the DC Universe. Thus why I said he wouldn't completely deny magic or anything supernatural. If it's obvious to him it's obvious so no point in denying it then. And yet again I don't think his attitude was intentional. Sure it seemed like he was being a tad bit rude but if anything it was more him trying to be logical and direct.
@@daisiathepotatoangel1273 bruh not everytime a ghost will come to your bathroom to signal you on the walls. You gotta trust your colleagues if you expect them to trust you.
@@faizanraza255 I don't think it's all about trust. Yes it is an important thing in a team but this is Batman we're talking about. And I do think he trusts his teammates just apparently not when they make assumptions. It's clear he's not the type of guy to trust everything he hears unless there's proof with it. I'm not saying it's bad to trust other peoples assumptions about something I'm just saying sometimes it's not always good to do that. It's also good to trust your instincts. Especially if it's obviously fishy. But sometimes your instincts can be wrong too. It's a what if situation. Like what if they turned out to be wrong? Bman is just a cautious person. He wants to know for sure before stating it. And I respect that. Now obviously they were right with their assumption but it's more about the thought of what if they weren't. That's just the point I'm trying to make. I'm not disagreeing with you because you are right but this is how I see it.

Because he spends like every night fighting crime in every corner of Gotham no matter how petty or large the crime is, not just focusing on the big stuff.

Batman gringo : Te falta calle 🐎
Jajaja re si
it's understandable for batman to say that cause he's more in science
He's literally talking to 2 aliens, a cyborg, An Atlantean (Has to be some type of magic), a scientific oppsie, a guy with an alien ring, and an Amazonian who also has powers based in magic. Lets not forget the fucking BIRD GUY.
Science is great, but it's obviously not the end all be all.

I mean, on one hand, magic is definitely a plausible explanation given that it actually exists in their world. On the other, Batman regularly fights Scarecrow who uses chemicals to induce fearful hallucinations in his victims causing mass hysteria across a large number of persons at a time. It could be one or the other or possibly both is all I’m saying.
yeah i feel like he’s also open to it being magic and knows that’s a possibility but he also knows that all the other goofy goobers in the room don’t spend much time on the streets so they’re quick to say it’s magic cus it’s all they can think of. Batman, however, knows better.

Constantly hooks up with Zatanna and was taught escape artistry by Zatara, who are both magic users. Often teams up with John Constantine for demon/spooky detective shenanigans. Not to mention that Gotham itself is a catalyst for a lot of paranormal stuff and he’s sure as heck done research on all of it.
@Pr0fessorB1ble_ except those "goofy goobers" were correct. And not only that but Batman's statement is irrelevant as they didn't flat out say it was magic in first place. It was just suggested due to large numbers and nature of the crime. And again, they were correct anyway

All it ever takes is a few words to plunge paradise into chaos.
I've never seen this particular one, but I feel like Batman is ignoring the Flash in this conversation.
@ShadyDoorags does the flash fly?
He Roasted him self not only was he wrong he also told Superman who is always with The People to stop flying above them when he is the one that jumps above them.
Superman cares about The People and that is why he knew something was up Batboy didn't care.
Thank you, man i hate when they make Batman this know it all dork, Superman is one of the few people that is helping locally, its just stupid

Says the guy who pretend the death penalty isn't an option
And yet they were right. Batman has to be an asshole everytime with his attitude.
