    Kristen's performance amazed me, and to be frank, it's the most challenging role she's ever played in her whole career as an actress, which I value because, playing real-life's characters needs a lot of effort. The film director "Pablo Larrain", and the production made an unbelievable movie, I actually enjoyed it.

    Wow … so beautifully crafted!
    It’s always so fascinating and inspiring to watch the actors and directors passionately discussing their work! It’s a rare thing to see in mainstream media; mostly, they just do the misleading click-bait stories.

    Amazing movie I rented it twice lol off on demand for $20 each time and I would have rented it another 2 times to watch it again because it was so good … it also gets better the second time you watch or the more times you watch it because you miss important details in it the first time

    It really makes you understand how hard it is to be a royal. You think it's just living in palaces and have endless stupid privileges, which they do, but also to live on a forever performance and not being allowed to really be yourself, like never. How awful!

    • @Karin_Allen
      @Karin_Allen Před 2 lety

      Frankly, I pity the royals (all of them, not just the English monarchy). They're molded from birth to fit various roles that have nothing to do with their true selves, and then they're kept in a goldfish bowl and put on display all their lives. It's kind of tragic. Of course, that does nothing to excuse the alleged p3d0phile in their midst, or the ones who allegedly protect him.

    I just don't get why Charles on earth did marry Diana in first place? Why he couldn't marry Camilla? As it's clear they both were in love since the beginning. It's just doesn't make any sense and so many people were suffering for so long in vain

    Save your money. I can't believe the way the critics have raved about this, it's a glorified Lifetime movie. She didn't look or act like Diana. She did a whisper accent most of the time with some mumbling thrown in, and whenever she yelled she sounded just like "You named my daughter after the Loch Ness monster?!???" Didn't sound like Diana at all. I also didn't care for the way they made Diana seem like she was crazy the whole time. It seemed like Charles could have written the script.

    • @richgranados11
      @richgranados11 Před 2 lety +6

      Yes totally agree. I don’t know if she sounded like Diana or not, but whispering your lines is really annoying to the viewer. I liked Stewart but it was impossible to fully understand her. The film had some good scenes and interesting ideas. But you just know if this movie veered into B-movie territory (like it hinted at) the royals would turn out to be reptilians or something and she would have to kill them off which would of made the movie fun at least especially if it was shot in the artsy fartsy way it was. Another thing, Diana comes off as needlessly weak so it makes it hard for people to sympathize with a woman who was born in a freaking castle! Like really, how am I supposed to relate to someone who vomits gourmet food?

    • @a.madison9625
      @a.madison9625 Před 2 lety +1

      @@richgranados11 Thank you, it's not just me. She was hard to understand and she mumbled or spoke so fast that you couldn't understand what she was saying. I agree, the script had Diana making so many bad choices, she did seem weak and unsympathetic.
      She really did have an eating disorder, but the movie made it seem like she was doing it just to annoy Charles and the Queen, not because they were driving her to it. Artsy cinematographer and a jangling score don't make up for a good script and a lead actress who is truly captivating.

      @@M.M.424 On Rotten Tomatoes the critics score is 85 and the audience score is 52. So who's right? 100 critics or 10,000 audience members? You think critics are special? They're like sheep sometimes. A couple of them say it's the best movie ever and all the rest follow along. It's peer pressure. They're afraid to say what they really think.
      But when the audience sees a bad movie, they're not afraid to say so.

    • @a.madison9625
      @a.madison9625 Před 2 lety +9

      @rubbergigs Honestly, it does, but I know what you mean. I think Twilight is at 47 but audience is 73. Mass audiences like junk a lot of the time. Currently Spencer is 85 with the critics and 51 with the audience. Personal Shopper is about the same numbers. Even when her films get good reviews, the audience isn't sold.
