Awesome video! Quick question: what’s your take on foot straps for beginner wingfoilers? Good or bad idea? Being kiting strapless surfboards and foilboards for a while and love it, but I feel that straps may help with pumping the foil during the water-start phase with the wing. Maybe just the front strap at the beginning?
I think no straps are better for beginners just because their feet might be moving around. You can't assume the straps are in the right spot. That said, straps help to lock your feet in. I don't use a back strap because I move my foot around. If your planning take this sport to the air then yes, straps
To me it sounds like a Tie Fighter when I'm up on foil. Loving it!
