Back in the pre transponder days Honda came out with a longer key. People would go to Home Depot have a copy made. They would cut it on the shorter old blank. People would start the car and the couldn't get the key out. Those old ones had to be pushed in to off to extract the key. I would take a die grinder in the car and cut the bow off and use pliers to get the blade out.
That’s wild. First time they use their new key and end up having to call a locksmith.
@@BoredLockpicker Locksmiths who had shops who didn't do a lot of automotive work also made the same mistake. We stopped carrying the shorter blank as the long one fit into the older ones fine. It stuck out a few thousands more.
I was looking into Xhorse Mini Plus II but read a lot of bad reviews on it. Mainly board issues. Not sure which Dolphin you have but read about a couple issues with the 005 Dolphin. One of my guys has the SEC-9 and really likes it. Might go that route. Any issues with your machine?
are the canam keycodes published? Meaning if you looked up bitting you would get a valid code?
