Ever since I started wearing hoop shoes made by Asian brands (particularly Asics and Li Ning), they've completely changed my mind. Not turning back to Nike/Adidas.
do u got any recommendations from both brands, asics and li ning
Problem for me is the asian brands never go on sale for U.S. customers

The shank strobel is an interesting idea
You listed all my pains (knees, hips, ankles). Sucks that's the case since I loved the 16's and thought they weren't going to mess with the cushioning until the 18's.

I miss the full length zoom strobel in KDs and I think the KD line peaked at the 14s. I wonder what they get on the URS? Also, can you make a video about how you would fix the li-ning gamma's? Thanks Doc! Excited for the kobe 8 review too!

@@FootDoctorZach he has pics of them on-court on his IG, with a mid-foot strap for added lockdown. Forefoot lockdown I might be concerned about because of the wide forefoot, but I’m looking forward to the zero heel-to-toe drop.

Can you please do Li-Ning Badfive 2 or 3 next?
Nike should have put polyurethane insoles in these (The Jordan 11 insoles) to help reduce some of that shock coming from the shank. I’ll probably throw some in once I’ve broken them in and made room for a thicker PU insole, they really do make a huge difference it’s another entire layer of foam.
Would have liked the zoom to cover the entire forefoot area like the 16s

Huh?? Didnt the KD16 not just release at start of the season? KD16 and KD15 were nice looking shoes but the colorways were lacking.. Nike is not releasing many colorways for basketball sneakers overall. Remember the days of KD4, KD7, Kyrie 1, Lebron 11, 12 when a colorway was released 1 or twice a month..
They’ve started spreading out the color way releases to supposedly maintain interest in the shoe. But I think people often just move on to other shoes when they release trash color ways to start
Nike continuing to put out ridiculously narrow, ill-fitting shoes with average traction, average materials, and average performance, yet charging top dollar. At this point people are only buying Nike for the swoosh and the player name attached to the shoe. People looking for great performing basketball shoes have been looking elsewhere for a while

It kinda makes sense that the shoe is narrow because KD has a really narrow foot. I agree though you are paying for the name attached to the shoe, but I don’t have a problem with it.
