It wasn't very plea -sant to hear since I was the true catholic who was baptised and confirmed and went to CC14years .Their family acted all self-righteous and told everyone I was an athiest and liar. I was ready to go to law school and had my letters submitted. Was just waiting for test date. My father left me no inheritance, but I had school loans. Not one of his words and actions lined up. They always disappoint. When I caught them in a lie, they blamed me or themselves if it was positive. They lied about his father and made him out to be a piece of shit. He was a teacher and very respected. My ex stole his dad's life insurance policy. His mom knew the truth of all these lies, and she was very mean to me and tried to prosecute me all day long. In the end I had my friend call his mother an asked her for his phone # because she heard he was single again. His mother spoke out about me an slandered my name and reputation for over three years.. She felt foolish and caught once her words came out in court! Bad mommy and a narcissistic hubby. They all have that same sick personality trait when they act like this. Sad part is the are the living devils in the world. 😢😢😢😢
When someone tells me or fewls the need to share "I'm a Christian" or belongs to an organized tyoe of religion I Run not walk in the opposite direction! I have met a very small group of Actual Christians that live, actually practice & Never judge or preach! They are a rare breed but truly amazing, beautiful, caring & genuine people that lift you up Not bring you down or judge others. They are a gift to treasure❣️

He isn't anymore, and I'm not sure why. He's tried to kill me, so as you may imagine, we are not on speaking terms. Nine years ago, he was caught in a political scandal, lied his head off, betrayed his compatriots, and enraged many people. Over the next six years, it bled his small business dry, and my impression is that, at age 68, he doesn't have many acolytes left.

It was so hard for me to believe my Narc was the high-level liar he was because (1) he would lie about the most unimportant things, I mean thee dumbest shit that didn’t require any lie and (2) he was 9 years older than me (damn near 50!) I just didn’t know that middle aged folks still behave like children at that level. However, he GOT ME with the education lie. I met this Narc during a big transition in my life and was super excited and motivated to return to College in my late 30’s. I was vulnerable, blinded by newness and distracted by my own goals and new experiences. 7 years and 2 Degrees later (me), when my plate became emptier, everything seemed so much easier to see. I later learned that he was just ‘mirroring’ my life, goals and accomplishments to create the idea that we had sooooo much in common. Thanks for listening 😊

My brother's ex-wife lied about having a college degree when she met him (she didn't even have a high school degree), and then lied multiple times about having a college degree when applying for jobs. One company actually found out she was lying and confronted her.

In fact, she'd offer/ insist/ DEMAND to know- turning it into, "Oh, but l HAD to listen to your shit about (name)." 2. She thinks his will win her the argument and her all- round respect. Check- mate! 3. A favour turns into a six- month old grudge/debt on which to collect. (Like her housekeeper said, "You will always be made to pay, with her.") 4. Note the obligatory victim- card nicely baked in, not seeing her own self- depreciation.
My narcissistic mother does that..the other day she told me she is about to lose the little love she has for me..for we do argue, since we disagree..more and more I understand what she is and what she does...I try and make it real...still learning..good luck to you..

My MIL presented a family situation in our first meeting in 2008 that I've never seen since then. It was an over the top "Potentially Welcome to the Family" scene as we had been dating 9 months at that point. The Christmas tree was to the ceiling and we both received checks for the airfare money spent to get to GA from AZ.I have never seen a tree in their home since then other then something looking more like a Charle Brown tree. Since my marriage to said son, I have had to deal with silly, BS left and right. Inconsistent crap. Very purposeful. MIL is insane and no one wants to confront so we just navigate. Thankfully, we are not "Everybody Loves Raymond" type of actual physical neighbors OR that is the people I am talking about. Insanely Dysfunctional! I love that show as I can laugh because I don;t live across the street from the the SUPREMELY dystunctional Marie and Frank. OMG!!!
