So there was one version you missed. In the 90's there was an animated show called The Tick and in one episode there was a character that devoured planets who was called Omnipitous and looked strikingly like Galactus...so much so that marvel comics filed a lawsuit and the episode cannot be released on the DVD set of the show (although you can find clips of it on CZcams.

Say what you want about FF: Rise of the Silver Surfer I feel they did a fantastic job with the portrayal of Silver Surfer. On the down side don’t save your best stuff for a sequel that might never come.

Interesting. I always interpreted it as implied destruction. Though I figured Galactus and Silver Surfer would most likely comeback, had they made more films. Cause they are both so powerful, how could they not?

What about that Omnipotus character? the Invincible universes version of Galactus. He is ultimately killed because his energy levels were very low. But he can absorb the energies of worlds and would be beyond all viltrumites then.

I mean it's true the G man is a poor man's cosmic being he's up there but he's not self sustainable but is counted among the hierarchy of cosmic beings in the Marvel U....the only humanoid to have gotten his power by accident....he can't duke it out for too long or he'll be drained out...that's why I liked The Life Bringer version of him

The giant "fart" was the interstellar dust of his world ship which is so large that planets revolves around it, and the only reason he was able to defeat Galactus is because he was weak and no as he weakens this weakness doesn't translate to the surfer getting weak as well, because once bestowed with the cosmic gift it becomes self generating. 😑

Nice list, Amanda. I think you've been starting to talk a little too quickly lately, at the cost of some of your expression, but that's the only negative thing I have to say. You do great work overall, and I still find you adorable.
I've always had the impression that the film version of Galactus was influenced by Gah Lak Tus. I found both versions to be a letdown. Galactiac, on the other hand, is something I find truly frightening for some reason.
He was. I just didn't want to say Gah Lak Tus anymore. Lol. I think Gah Lak Tus is pretty cool but the movie version was just weird. Still worth a mention though. Galactiac is oddly brilliant. Also sorry about the fast talking--I'm just normally a fast talker but I also consume too much caffeine some days. I'm very sensitive to it! Lol. Trying to cut back so I can actually breathe when speaking. :3
