Been doing a year of freeride and slowly getting into dh, its a rlly awesome sport

And don't get thrown off your board and into a boulder! That shit sucks! Mine happened at just 20 mph and boy let me tell you! I had enough time to tuck and take the brunt of the impact to my right shoulder.
5 days in the hospital, 4 broken ribs, bruised lung and liver, hemorrhaging from my adrenal glands, and a posterior sternoclavicular dislocation of my collar bone(surgery to fix coming soon).
Don't know if I'll go back to it or not. Miss the rush and fun but DAMN, that 1 bad crash really sucks balls!

Strahinja Vujović Not yet. I most likely will tho. Been riding but just haven't took to any hills yet. Good news is, it was an anterior dislocation, so no surgery needed. But MRI showed I chipped bone in the shoulder. Doing physical therapy right now.

can you do downhill with grippy wheels (rubber)? They don't seem to be able to do slides and drifts though.
Yes, all wheels are able to drift. This is what ALL of them use, you just need a little speed. All wheels are urethane, but some are harder or softer, not rubber or plastic.
Just break the shit out of the wheels and they gonna work :)
If ur going fast enough, even the largest most grippiest wheels will slide
Those are race wheels, you need to be going at a faster speed for those to slide and are usually used to just race and stay in tuck

+Ron Seibel never seen that one before. it`s from sector 9 dh division. the shape of the deck looks to me like a sector 9 javelin, but with a different graphic.(sometimes pro riders get the same board, but with a different graphic, one that they really like)

I've been to events where some longboarders get completely naked bomb hills at 65mph+😂 obviously they wear their full face helmets and slide gloves though. and there's plenty of longboarders that ride switch and pop nollies at 70km/hr😂 it's kinda crucial to know how to ride switch if you're a Freeride Longboarder.. i know how to ride switch but personally can't do nollies cause my longboard is too heavy for that shit.. i mean, i can kinda crouch and grab the edges of my board and jump up but that's it haha.
Yeah and in those videos you can see it is rather a lot of luck than skill lol, hillbombing is a compilation of fucking idiots. No effective way to stop and no helmet... how is this impressive? Ya'll are brain dead as fuck if you think its 'cooler' then bombing hills with the proper gear and skill

Ok listen up budster, you couldent even go fucking 30 mph, it requires an extreme amount to balance to stay stable and sliding/predrifting takes years to master, not only do you have to worry about your self but when you're riding in a pack thiers other people and if you crash at 50 thiers plenty of ways you could risk death, btw you can have perfect wieght distrobution and stil get thrown off your board from wobble
