  • The difference between Air Peace and other unsuccessful Nigerian Airlines that plied the Lagos to London route is that they failed to have a TCO audit and they suffered for it

I agree with what you're saying, Mr Onyema. Airlines are 'cartels'. There is a barrier to entry by the big airlines. They are gatekeepers. Mr Virgin 'Richard Branson' took British Airways to court because they tried to frustrate Virgin Airlines in the late80s/90s Look at how Sir Alfred Laker ( Laker Airways) was also frustrated because he was competing against the now defunct BCal. He had to sue the UK govt. because they supported Bcal to work against him as his fare were far cheaper than Bcal. Our Nigerian govt needs to step in or else another story would evolve like Freddie Laker. Sir Richard went all the way to court and won against BA also suppirted by the UK govt. These were case studies while I studied at my UK universities some decades ago. I also lived it as it was always on BBC News, ITV and in the print press media back in the day. These two men were relentless and Sir Richard went all the way hence, Virgin is still thriving in the skies. He started off being cheaper than BA and the now defunct British Caledonian. Unfortunately, Virgin has levelled up with BA. I travelled by Nigerian Virgin Airways through Gatwick in 2008 to Nigeria and we were frustrated at the airport both ways. A flight that was scheduled to leave Gatwick by 9 AM left 11.30pm. We were checked into a hotel, then asked to leave. It was my whole family with a mother in a wheelchair. On coming back, I had the same experience at MMA. We were checked into a hotel in Nigeria. The movements and sit-around that we were put through on the day made me cry. Now that airline is defunct. Virgin would see off a rival and BA. Air peace should NOT allow the same circumstance of previous airlines on this same lucrative route. The gatekeepers are in action to frustrate another Nigerian airline out of business. I hope the onwer reads this and takes action with our Nigerian govt. They can not allow this airline to become another 'graveyard' case study. I know our Nigerian people across the world would support Air Peace. We are populous but, the UK policies to deter the Airline is a battle that needs to be headed by our NigerianAviation Dept, Air Peace Management, Nigerian Press and The people of Nigeria.
Read up on any articles on Laker Airways - Sir Alfred Laker. He's deceased now. And articles of Sir Richard Branson v BA. It's in the archives.

when you people write, consider history like past 40 years + when necessary. Yoruba people have run the biggest airlines in Nigeria in the past including Abiola's Concord, and Bellew Airlines - you have to deal with discriminatory Europeans to do those businesses. Regarding manufacturing, Yorubas and Hausas brought in most of the biggest manufacturing companies in the beginning, but inferior cheap products brought in by Igbos started collapse of those manufacturing companies before even effects of electricity set in as population grew to overload electricity capacity.

My sister saw a 1500 Naira tyre in the 1990s and she bought imported by Igbo man but the tyre did not last for 18 months before the thread was done. It would have taken a quality tyre 5 years for the thread to be done considering the light usage. Yorubas were set up for big time quality manufacturing even before independence in 1960. Nigerians are going to build Nigeria 🇳🇬, nobody will do this for us. The Westerners and co can never love us more than ourselves, we should learn to love and support ourselves no matter how, make our solutions by ourselves, then we will take over places and break protocols and boundaries.
Big shout to Mr Allen for this never say never, iconic and patriotic act. Generations will never forget how you break this boundary and make history. Also shout out the FG, president Tinubu, Minister of Aviation and co for making this a success. We hope to see more wins in the future.
Ooh lest I forget, big shame to the unpatriotic Nigerians in that aviation sector who are frustrating, fighting and killing the rise of our own and countryman, you all should cover and bury your face by now. Allen Onyema and Air Peace did it with you watching 😅.

I couldn't agree more with Mr. Allen Onyema, the CEO of Air Peace, on his frustrations and dreams for nigeria. What a true patriotic citizen who selflessly serves his country, upholds its values, and works towards its betterment is indeed a true hero.. Mr. Allen Onyema has demonstrated courage, dedication, and a sense of responsibility, inspiring others to do the same. His actions may not always be grand or attention-seeking, but they are driven by a genuine love for nigerian and a desire to make a positive impact. Patriotic citizens are the backbone of a nation, and their quiet heroism is something to be celebrated and emulated. Without any doubt, Mr. Allen Onyema is an honorable man and a true nigeria. May God continue to bless him.

The tenacity of Mr. Alex Onyema to ensure that Air Peace thrive on the Lagos -London route is to be praised!
Nigeria has got all it takes to be great, if only we will put aside our nepotism, bigotry and corruption! Nigeria is not called the giant of Africa for nothing, even the international community knows it that's why often we are frustrated on all sides, but we must continue to strive to excel.
