@@kainwest2336 actually in an old ass interview, probably before z was a thing, someone asked if they died after roshi's attack and toriyama replied that the blast didn't hit them directly but it sent them flying away. As for piccolo idk but they probably weren't on the moon in that moment

Asian folklore depicts the moon with a rabbit due to the dark markings of the moon looking like a rabbit working with a paste & mortar. I actually never thought of the dark marking on the moon as a rabbit but when I learned about this I cant unsee it 😭

However, the dragonball/dragon ball z anime refers to puar as female multiple times.

"I don't like carrots" might be some reference to Gokuh's real name Kakarot (or maybe I'm just seeing connections where, so far, there aren't).

The thing is in the Dragon Ball fantasy world the moon does have oxygen. Because if you see in the last scene where boss rabbit was making marshmallows, you see tiny little bunnies watching them on the moon. Remember the Dragon Ball Earth is different from ours. (Look at a map of it's earth) Even the geological and structural places are completely different from our own. Even culturally it's way different because Dragon balls of world war eastern and western cultures live together without conflict. It even has anthropomorphic animals and they even brought the dinosaurs back to life through science. This is without a shadow of a doubt not our world. 😅
The early dragonball earth is also completly different from the DBZ earth

Kakarot is similar to carrot and vegeta is similar to vegetable and I think Gohan is also named after a type of food too. You can see more inspiration from this episode in DBZ since monster carrot may be the inspiration behind majin buu transforming people into food with his magic.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if their vehicle had guns on the front, as Akira Toriyama loved himself some finely-detailed and beautifully drawn mechanisms in his work. Take a look at the covers of his manga, especially the ones with Bulma and all the things she would build.

Wait is the Rabbit on the Moon some Japanese folklore or something, because I swear it's referenced elsewhere too? Like I'm pretty sure Kaguya from Naruto was referred to as the "Rabbit Goddess" and has some involvement with the moon as well (infinite Tsukuyomi)
Dragon Ball was supposed to end right after the first arc (Hopefully it didn't) so no the word carott had nothing to do with Kakarott so nobody knew yet (not even Akira Toryiama) that Goku was a Sayian. It wasnt scripted yet

At this point, Toriyama didn't even have the concept for the Saiyan race. Goku was just a character loosely based on Sun Wukong at this point.
So the Kakarot/Carrot connection wasn't even thought of at this time.
He did have a funny way of naming characters and groups after certain things like different types of food.
The idea for alien races didn't even become an idea until DBZ.

When Dragon Ball Super was doing the Tournament of Power Arc and Universe 7 wanted a replacement for Buu after he fell asleep; I was hoping they would have chosen Monster Carrot; not because he is physically strong, but it would be interesting to see if his special attack could have potentially worked on strong characters such as Kale, Hit, Toppo, Jiren etc.. and what his reaction would have been should the attack fail; but I think for most of the fighters in the tournament his attack would have worked.

Yeah the Dragon Ball world is beautiful. You see so much of it. In Z, it's like, all rocky areas, but the Android/Cell Saga you finally get to see more of the world again.

This episode is more of a Toriyama bugs bunny like Goku punching Yamucha into the panel lines in the manga .
Toriyama here is mostly inspired by Journey to the West with additions to Jackie Chan early 70s films ,The land that time forgot , james bond and obviously king kong.

One last bit about the United States government basically being the same as a tyrannical government remember that inflation exists and that every year the dollar becomes worth less I was 16 years old shortly before the last time the minimum wage was raised on a federal level. Yes there are cities and states where they have raised it since however there are plenty of places where it is still the federal minimum wage. Also individual states compete with each other by having higher than the federal minimum wage as their minimum wage so that's one way to increase competition between states is to raise that up to a living wage and then if a state wants to go beyond a living wage as the minimum well that's up to that state/city. The minimum wage should be tied to inflation like any other civilized country.
This is one way but they exhibit control over you is to make you be grateful for what little you get and pretend like it's your problem that you don't spend the money wisely enough or save it wisely and that you can't afford this and that you can't afford that it's all your problem. Then if you dare to ask for a raise well did you earn it and even if you did well they can't afford to pay you that... Yet the billionaire that paid for those election campaigns and got a fat bonus well that's perfectly reasonable.

Guys: work on being emotionally stable and emotionally available. Those are traits that make for a good life. It may also work out that people like you for it - and 50% of them are likely to be women - but don't do it as a way to pick up chicks. Do it because you can be the best version of yourself OR a crappy version of yourself, and why not be the best version.

It should be noted that the capsules are not actually called "Dynocaps," that is a non-canon dubism. In the manga it is Hoi Poi Capusles, I believe the same applies for the sub.

Hey Baris, you seem like a decent guy and I know you mean well, but I have to say "be yourself" is bad advice. A lot of men out here have trouble with women *precisely* because being who they are didn't work. It's also vague as to what "be yourself" actually means without further elaborating.
I think that working on being the best version of yourself before making an approach is more sensible, as many of us are in various stages of life where "being yourself" can actually backfire. This is also applicable in other areas outside of talking to women.
In any case, I'm not going to tell you how to run your channel, but respectfully, I do think you should stick to making commentary about the video itself, though I'm sure you will continue to say what you want regardless of my feedback.
If “being yourself” gets you rejected, then that person wasn’t for you to begin with. This goes for just about anything in my world.
I’ve dated dozens of women thus far. One thing that many of them said to me is that they loved how I’m “unapologetically” always myself.
But of course, with any life experience, there isn’t a “one size fits all” answer..
