    Now, before you get too upset, we agree that there are some better bikes that would have handled our tests. We snagged some various Fat Tire Ebikes at various price points, and with various use-cases. We're looking forward to doing more of these in the future, and will see what we can do about getting some more popular, more evenly matched Ebikes for our next one! We'll have to craft some more challenging tests...so that should be fun ;)

    All those electric bikes mentioned in the video will cost you a small princely sum of $28,750/£23,577!

      I just learned about the Big Sur from Roadrunner Bikes in Tucson, AZ...and, when we move there in April, my wife and I will be getting a couple. Can't wait!!!

    My beloved heavily modded e-bike which I enjoyed 4+ years of blissful ownership with was recently stolen, and after deep mourning and fruitless attempts to find it, I began the somber journey of shopping for a replacement. After hundreds of hours of research, this was by far the most helpful, AND entertaining content I've seen. You guys do a fantastic job. Keep up the great work. I'm happy to be your newest subscriber and fan.

    We greatly appreciate your detailed product comparison as it gives customers a clear understanding of their options. Personally, I particularly like the Big Sur as it not only offers impressive quality but also offers a competitive price, making it a top choice in my mind. Your insights are valuable in helping customers make informed decisions.

    Great video, guys!! I really love my Big Sur, it's my first fat tire ebike and I'm just amazed at the ride feel, maneuverability and quality of the components at this price! Mitch, it was great to speak with you by phone; I appreciate all the advice and tips that you gave me and I have to tell you that I tried your rack loading technique that you spoke about and it worked like a charm!!! Thanks again!!! -Ronnie

    Well, I am not sure if the bikes that you picked are the best of the best. But I will say the test you did has to rank pretty high in the funnest of the fun.

      Agreed! You know we opened it up to alot of brands that we thought were producing some top notch fat tire Ebikes, but these are the companies that wanted to participate with us, so we rolled with it! There were a few surprises, but that Pedal AWD pretty much placed where I thought it would after getting ride it around for a few days :P

      Yeah The Big Sur was a new Ebike to us, but it performed really well and we all like it pretty well. Good value for the price, imo.

    I have a Cobra that I love so I naturally gravitate toward the Cyrusher. That looks like an awesome bike.

    • @mitch4rk
      @mitch4rk Před 11 měsíci

      If I had to choose between the two, I'd lean Cyrusher. I've tested 3, and had no issues. At our local shop we just had a Cobra Pro come in because the last two gear rings broke teeth off...haven't seen that happen on a Cyrusher. To be fair, the Pro is mid-drive and those are known to be chain snappers :P After it was fixed, I had a chance to ride it, and was kinda lackluster, based on the hype and specs. Just going off rear suspension on the Cobra (not Pro) Cyrusher's suspension is way better. Adjustable air, vs. non-adjustable air (those cheaper ones can be seen on sone low-end bikes, and imo doesn't belong on a bike at that price point).

      @Scomelbasses Před 11 měsíci +1

      @@mitch4rk I’m not a fan of the Pro simply because I think that particular mid drive is too powerful for the chain and gears. Neither of the Cobras or the Cyrusher have great suspension, all are pretty cheap. I don’t look at any of the three as eMTB’s they’re just too heavy and don’t have good enough suspension. I think they’re more like a very versatile commuter/touring bike that can handle light off road trails. I don’t have any issues with the rear shock on the regular Cobra. It certainly sets up differently than my MTB. I run lower air pressure in it for a plush ride. For general riding I have no need for rebound adjustments or lockout, just being able to adjust the PSI is good enough for me.

    • @electrifiedreviews
      @electrifiedreviews  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Well if you're thinking eMTB, I got a chance to ride on the new Denago eMTBs, and they're pretty sweet rides as an actual MTB, and the price point is pretty sick too. I'd swap out a few parts here and there on them, but a really cool riding bike.

    Without an Ariel Rider Grizzly in the lineup It's hard to take this video seriously. #1 at hill climbing w dual 1000 watt motors. Excellent range with dual batteries. Superior handling and comfort with full suspension. Oh & max speed 38 mph w awesome moped styling.

      Well said! I wish they would have wanted to participate in the video :P I've been trying to get my hands, and butt, on one of those for years! I'm personally a big fan of fun, fast Ebikes, so that one is on my personal list for sure.

    Any credible list would have Aventon Aventure 2, Himiway Cobra, Ride1up Rift, and Heybike Brawn.
    I hate to say it, but you have included a lot of unpopular ebikes in your list.

    please consider the nireeka mega...
    it's a beast and 38mph and anti lock brakes
    when you guys choose such ugly and uninteresting bikes it really makes me question your judgement... just saying
