Is that mix dry enough to brush in and then compact with a tuck pointer or do you have to drop it in the gaps with a trowel first to avoid staining? Thinking about time constraints but i agree this looks better that easy joint. Cheaper too!!

Hi can I ask what is the additive that you use. The 25ml liquid you add to the mix?
I think it's Everbuild Opti-Mix super concentrate mortar plasticine.
Do you prefer this to easyjoint?
Yes on sandstone I prefer traditional pointing but if it was requested I would use easyjoint
Hansons build sand is a brand not a type….grey, soft yellow, missen, sharp sand
Were we are based they sell it from the quarry, hammer warren is like an orange and hansons is a yellow so yeah agree it's a "brand" but we wouldn't go in and ask for a light yellow hammer warren, we just wouldn't get it. Maybe if I was buying from Tp or jewson I'd ask for it by the colour. But not when buying loose. My apologies for any confusion i should have been more specific. Appreciate the comment.
Feathered cuts on edge of path dont look good. Sort bonds out

Carrying on the pattern of the patio looks so much better than just having one that isn't. The only thing that would have made it look better would have been having an edging to the patio and pathway. 👍👍
